"Service was mostly attentive but forgot about drinks; the mussels, fresh bread and mozzarella were very good. Unfortunately the atmosphere leaves you wondering if you're eating dinner in a room that will later be used as a nightclub, which feels strange.
While the food quality was nice, the ambiance took this one off our list for a repeat visit."

This is American Regional Cuisine at its classic, pub-inspired best. The food is fun and what we like to call “approachable”. You’ll also enjoy some twists on the classics with taste-inspired ideas like our Dirty Caesar Salad and Greek Turkey Burger. At the American Tap Room we believe in using local ingredients as much as possible and, yes, everything we serve goes well with beer.

Ranging from weekend brunch, to a casual lunch outing or an after-work gathering in our bar, each dining experience is uniquely enjoyable.

Enjoy your time with us on our outdoor patio, inside by the fireplace, or by booking a private event.

"We live in Rockville, and really hope that ATR can turn its act around. The ambiance is great, and the bar has a wonderful beer list. However, we were disappointed in our food for the second (and maybe final) time.
About our meal: The signature "ATR Burger", ordered medium, was served blackened, with more of a burnt grill flavor than a tasty burger flavor, and the fish tacos lacked any seasoning, except, perhaps for a heavy dousing of onions.
Thankfully, our local craft beers were poured well, assisting us with washing away the unsavory dinner flavors we received. We might come back for a happy hour, but there are definitely better restaurants in the Rockville Town Square.
Time for a new chef, ATR!!"
