"I travel on business almost every week and visit both coasts often. I don't necessarily hesitate to order seafood in the Midwest or other regions but then again I don't expect the fish to be caught that day fresh - shipping is requied after all. I thought my Mahi-Mahi was nicely prepared and fresh. Maybe not quite the same as Florida fresh but close enough to enjoy if that's what you're in the mood for. The ambience, service and other courses were nice too although nothing extrodinary. Entree size is on the slightly skimpy side but I'm not into the big portion = high quality meal camp so to me it was appropriate to the quality of the protein. I would return."

"We dine at Heartland to celebrate something special, usually found money like a bonus or tax or escrow refund. Cuz you need extra money to dine here. We ordered a mid-priced but very nice bottle of wine and each enjoyed one of the chef's recommended price-fixed menu options and our meal approached $300.00 with tip and parking. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our meal and I dare say worth the experience. Wait staff is outstanding and everything is very professional.
We departed satisfied and will return the next time we find unexpected monetary enrichment. Time to do our taxes so we can return soon!"

"Laughable food. We had pizza's one night. A menu feature! Waiter told us they are not good because the pizza's are "doughey". We asked him to ensure they are thin and crispy. They came out thin and the edges were crispy but the other 90% was doughey. Inedible. We also had a bland lunch and several tasteless breakfasts. Staff is nice but can't overcome the underwhelming food. Treat yourself to a cab ride or a short drive to much better food. The steakhouse "Rustler's Rooste" was just plain aweful too so skip it unless your taste buds have stopped functioning."

Treat yourself to delectable seafood in an authentic Key West setting. Honoring the Key’s most famous resident, with walls filled with sepia photos of the author and his fishing trophies, Hemingway’s proudly boasts the freshest fare from both sea and land. Soft lighting from hurricane lamps and six separate dining areas where privite parties from 6 to 50 may be accommodated with overlooking the pool and private Lake Windsong create an atmosphere to make even the most casual get together a special occasion.

"We love Hemingway's and have dined many times while on business. It's the best in the area and the dining space is refreshing and a great break from the crowded theme parks. Perfect."

"We arrived 5 minutes early and still had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. The restaurant was very busy as usual and we always seem to end up waiting depite having a reservation. Most of the time the food is pleasant and sometimes very good but once in a while, as was the case this time, our food took a very long time to arrive after our salad course, and of the three of us, my entree was stone cold and the others were tepid. We would have sent them back but we just wanted to get the heck out of there. I will not return. The wait just isn't worth the experience."

The Dal Rae is the Southern California restaurant where 1950s classics still reign. Lobster Thermidor, Pepper Steak, Chateaubriand, Prime Rib, Fresh Fish, Rack of Lamb, Steak Diane and Cherries Jubilee prepared tableside are among more than 100 items on a truly retro menu, complete with some of the city's best martinis. Opened in 1958, the Dal Rae has maintained its original atmosphere, too, right down to a piano bar with live entertainment. And, most important, it has preserved a tradition otherwise found only in private clubs -- knowing its customers by name and treating them like the most important people in the whole wide world. The Dal Rae is located close to the 5 freeway and half-way between LA County, Orange County and The Valley. It is a perfect location for business meetings or entertaining friends and family.

"Not meant as a put-down but on a recent business trip I was stunned a bit by the lack of finer restaurants in the area. Yes, you have choices 10 miles to the west, but traffic is a quagmire, so something close is pretty intriging. We dined as Steven's the first night, but the so-so experience compelled us to seek something close that idnt require freeway access. We found Dal Rae. Similar steakhouse a bit past its prime but the experience was still pretty decent. Steaks were good and sides held up well. Service was excellent. My standards tend to scale with what the area has to offer and Dal Rae met those expectations."

"Best in Commerce but the standard is set pretty low. That said, we weren't disappointed given the sheer lack of fine dining in the area. The food, ambiance and service were just okay and we drove some distance the following night to try (and found) something better but we paid the price in freeway traffic:-("

"I dined on consecutive nights. The first night was such a treat, I cancelled a reservation at another establishment in favor of another night here. I thought the menu limited, but in a good way in that the chef concentrates on what can be done well in a given season. The wait staff was outstanding; attentive but not hovering. Two great evenings."
