Since 1999, Chef Wiedmaier infuses his Belgian heritage into Marcel's elegant haute French flagship restaurant. Regularly topping the best-of-lists in the nation's capital, in 2011 and 2012, it was rated the top restaurant for food by Zagat as well as one of the top five restaurants for service.

"Our group of four enjoyed the dinner before a concert at Constitution Hall; one had been to Marcel's before, and the rest of us had it on our "list." The food and service did not disappoint; there was a small issue of having to be reseated because the first table was wobbly, but it did not distract from our enjoyment of the experience."

La Tasca is a careful blend of everything that is good about Spain. Warm décor, authentic cuisine and friendly hospitality. All these go together to create a unique and genuine atmosphere. La Tasca has been described as being “so authentic that you won’t find anything better in Spain”.

"Received a La Tasca gift card as a holiday gift from a work colleague. When we showed it to our server, he said he would have to "check it out" with the management, but after a few minutes, he returned and said it was fine. We ordered a cocktail and an array of tapas, and enjoyed all of them. There were not many people in the dining room on a Friday evening after 6 pm; and the servers were aggressively trying to remove our plates (several times before we had finished with them). But overall, the service was friendly. They said we could not use any of the gift card balance for tip, so we left the tip in cash, and have a balance left for a future visit."

It is a common criticism that Washington, D.C., where chains, steakhouses, and take-out joints abound, lacks restaurants that combine great food, friendly prices, and a hip atmosphere. Logan Tavern puts this tragic shortcoming to rest. Located in the dynamic Logan Circle neighborhood, Logan Tavern is a neighborhood restaurant and bar that"s as perfect for a quick weekday bite as it is for a Friday night out with friends. Come by for dinner, lunch, happy hour, or our great weekend brunch for some comfort food with a twist.

"Our group of four enjoyed an early dinner after attending a Sunday matinee performance at the Studio Theater a half-block away. We received good service and enjoyed the food. Thank you for a fun early evening."

STK artfully blends two concepts into one—the modern steakhouse and a chic lounge. A large central lounge area is furnished with creamy leather banquettes and textured crocodile tiles, and is surrounded by an elevated dining room for more formal dining. Theatrical lights illuminate each table, while a DJ creates an energetic vibe throughout the entire space. STK Washington D.C. is located in Dupont Circle and is in close proximity to D.C. attractions as well as being in the heart of the best night life in the Nation's Capital. As anticipated, steak is the main attraction. STK offers small, medium and large cuts of meat, as well as naturally raised options and market fresh fish entrees. Aside from steak, signature items include Parmesan Truffle Fries; Lil’ BRGs; Shrimp Rice Krispies; Sweet Corn Pudding; and Jump Lump Crab Salad.

"We reserved for 12 noon and arrived on time; the dining room was about 30-40% full. The ambiance was nice, and the people were pleasant, but the service was extremely slow. Long waits to give our order as well as in between courses and after we asked for the check (had to ask for it, after waiting awhile to get the server's attention). We weren't able to leave until nearly 2 pm. Won't do a business lunch there again."

Chef/owner Jeffrey Buben's Vidalia features an expanded bar with 30 wines by the glass, a beautiful private dining room for groups up to 40 people, our wine room and a soft contemporary dining room featuring warm, rich fabrics incorporated in new booths, banquets and comfortable dining chairs. We look forward to seeing you and also invite you to Chef Buben's second restaurant, Bistro Bis, located next to the Hotel George on Capital Hill. "I needed to book a lunch to discuss some business alternatives, and the only place in the Golden Triangle area I felt comfortable doing so was Vidalia. I can always count on their excellent food and professional service - but it was important that the noise level at lunchtime be such that we could have a reasonable conversation. Home run on all fronts. Thank you."
