"We went with three friends from out of town. We had been at other iterations of Spence, but this was our first time here. Great food, nice mix of appetizers and entries. Two of the party had specials and three had items off menu. The black bass (special) was tasty and the short ribs (which 2 of us had) was flavorful and tender. Food was delivered on time and it was hot. We certainly will be back. We sat upstairs which would have been nice except for a large group having a birthday party. That made it noisy, although both up and down seem "energetic". I am glad we were not seated downstairs which seems more loud. Our server was helpful and showed the right blend of friendliness and professionalism, easy to talk with but not too intrusive. Overall, if they can figure out the noise level it will be a fully 5 star place."
