Established in 1920, The Waverly Inn was reopened in 2006 by Vanity Fair Editor-in-Chief Graydon Carter along with Sean MacPherson and Eric Goode (of the Maritime and Bowery Hotels) and Emil Varda. Tucked into the ground floors of two adjoining townhouses, the dining room's red booths, fireplaces and low amber lighting provide an attractive and cozy hangout for the city’s best and brightest. Chef Ashley Merriman’s menu features American classics alongside contemporary seasonal dishes using organic, local ingredients.

"The Waverly Inn is a beautiful restaurant. There are a few tables located just outside the main entrance offering the perfect dinner spot to enjoy people watching in the West Village while enjoying a very good dinner. Inside is a beautiful bar and dining room. But behind the dining room is an open air garden area for that perfect place to have your dinner on a summer evening. The food is very good as is the service. The menu is diverse and the overall restaurant is definitely a treat. This is a place to which I will return."

"I frequent Chelsea Ristorante from time to time and I have never been disappointed. It always starts with a wonderful greeting that conveys a sense that they are happy and honored to have you as a guest in their restaurant. The food is very good and it is really a bargain. Salads, pastas, pizzas and entrees are consistently good and I have always had an enjoyable time and a very good meal."

Blenheim is an enticing new restaurant in the West Village highlighting ingredients sourced from owners Morten Sohlberg and Min Ye’s proprietary 150-acre farm in the Catskill Mountains. The restaurant is a canvas for the property’s vegetables, fruits, meats, dairy, and even maple syrup. Executive Chef Ryan Tate's menu pays homage to the farm with its thoughtful flavor combinations accentuating the ingredients in their purest incarnation. A curated wine list showcases organic, biodynamic, and natural wines and artisanal cocktails will utilize farm ingredients to pair with the flavor profiles of the menu. Inspired by a world away from the bustle of New York City, this 45 seat eatery with modern lines give a departure from the traditional farm-to-table look, juxtaposed against vintage and antique décor. We look forward to welcoming you to Blenheim.

"I dined at Blenheim last evening and had a very good experience. I will definitely return and when I do, I will select a different entree and probably up my rating to 5 stars. I enjoyed a cocktail and then had the cold cauliflower soup that was presented beautifully in a chilled ceramic bowl. For my main course I opted for the skate wing and did not love it. I am reluctant to even mention it, because it could certainly have been my personal taste and not the quality of the dish. This is a beautiful restaurant with attentive service and I will return to try a different entree."

The Clam is a new 50 seat neighborhood restaurant drawing its inspiration from one of our favorite ingredients, the clam. Mike Price, chef and co-owner, offers a menu that celebrates seasonal, market driven ingredients as well as showcases influences of the Atlantic seaboard. The menu boasts a variety of clam dishes, some classic, some with a new twist and fun originals. The menu is rounded out with iced shellfish, salads, appetizers as well as meat and local seafood entrées. Desserts follow suit, and are inspired by the seasonal and local market offerings. All made in-house, the approach is simple and straightforward with something for everyone. Our shared vision and common goal is to offer genuine hospitality to our guests, garner relationships and establish ourselves not only as a neighborhood gem but also a Greenwich Village destination where our guests can be confident that their experiences are sure to be exceptional.

"The Clam serves very good food in its small and attractive setting. Last evening I enjoyed some excellent East and West Coast Oysters. I also munched on the very good clam dip and had the lobster/fired clam roll for my main course. The restaurant was very busy, very loud and everyone seemed to enjoy their time at this enjoyable place in the West Village."

"Barrio 47 is one of the most enjoyable spots to have dinner in the West Village. This cute restaurant serves an amazing "lobster paella" in an iron skillet, and that dish alone makes it worth going there. In addition the service is attentive and professional and the other dishes on the menu are fresh, creative and delicious. I will certainly return to this wonderful small place."

La Folie is a French restaurant located in Russian Hill of San Francisco. Chef Roland Passot, with his wife Jamie opened La Folie in March of 1988. In celebration of 21 years, The Passots have expanded their bar into a lounge located next door, perfect for before or after dinner drinks.

**We thank all of our guests for voting La Folie

Best French Restaurant - 7x7 Magazine
Best French Restaurant - San Francisco Magazine
Best French Restaurant - SF Weekly
Best Restaurant - Eater SF

Merci!

"La Folie is a very special restaurant and a place where one can enjoy an excellent meal in a pretty room with fine professional service. This restaurant is not inexpensive, but my wife, grown son and I felt it was well worth the money. The menu is creative and the dishes are excellently prepared with a beautiful presentation. We enjoyed our meal here and will return in the not too distant future."

"Patina is a quality restaurant that has no problem competing with the finest restaurants in New York City, which is where my wife and I reside. We chose Patina for our one night in Los Angeles and it was a great choice. The menu is diverse with many creative dishes. The food and the experience was excellent and it made for a wonderful evening. I am really glad that we chose to dine at Patina, a place where an excellent meal in a romantic and beautiful room may be enjoyed."

"My wife and I had dinner at MarkJoseph on July 4th just before the fireworks display. The restaurant, as you might will imagine was mobbed. Thanks to OpenTable, we were able to cut the line and we were immediately taken to our table. But there was chaos in the restaurant because of the the crowds of people. Our dinner was OK at best. My steak was medium-well, even though I ordered it medium-rare. The worst was the creamed spinach that was totally loaded with so much salt that it was not edible. We will not be returning to MarkJoseph, but perhaps the experience would be better on a calmer evening."

"L'Artusi is perhaps the best kept secret in New York City. The food is amazing and the restaurant is beautiful. It is a great way to spend an evening in the West Village that is both special and romantic. My wife and I usually dine at high-end restaurants and L'Artusi has no trouble competing with the best restaurants in New York that are much more expensive. L'Artusi is a place that we hope to return in the near-future."
