Diners' Choice Winner for Best Mediterranean Restaurant in NYC since 2011, Barrio 47 is a West Village gem and a destination for foodies! Chef Franco Barrio's creative menu offers a great variety of signatures dishes from Spain, France & Italy, all prepared from the open kitchen's wood-fired brick oven.

"Dining at Barrio 47 is always a treat and it just never disappoints. My wife and I arrived for a late dinner and everything from the greeting to the drinks and dinner was amazing. They have a few new items on their menu that were wonderful, and the service was professional and friendly. This has become a "go-to" restaurant for us and it always makes for an enjoyable evening."

"The food at Flex Mussels is very good ... 23 different ways to enjoy a pot of mussels never disappoints, is always a great evening and is consistently good. But I am now starting to question their prices and portions. It should be noted that they have raised their prices on oysters that now cost $3.25 an oyster if it is from the east coast, or $3.75 for a west coast variety (they still run $3.00 apiece at Union Square Cafe). Also the pad of butter served with their very good bread is now actually half of a pad. The portions of mussels look smaller as well .... I think that Flex Mussels is trying to save money at the expense of their patrons."

"My wife and I along with another couple enjoyed another wonderful meal at All'Onda. This was our second time dining here and it did not disappoint. The restaurant is charming with old brick walls surrounding a well decorated space. The service was professional and not at all intrusive. All four of us enjoyed our dishes that ranged from fish to pasta to meat. This restaurant is a treat and we will return again."

"My wife and I enjoyed our evening at The House. This is a very special and spectacularly beautiful old house that has been tastefully refurnished to become a lovely place to enjoy drinks and dinner. We chose to sit upstairs after a warm welcome. It took a long time to order a drink and then a long time to receive it, but after that the service was improved and professional. The food is very good with a mushroom/cheese/truffle oil flatbread that was amazing. My scallop dish was very good, but the brussels sprouts missed the mark. We will return to this very pretty and very romantic restaurant."

"The Union Square Cafe is always at the top of our list when we want a special place in the City to dine. The food is consistently wonderful, the atmosphere is is always celebratory without being too loud and the service is always professional. However the best part is the very warm welcome that everyone receives from the ladies that check you in and seat you to the manager that stops by to make sure that everything is OK. My wife and I often frequent high-end restaurants in New York City and the Union Square Cafe always shines!"

Nora's Table is a chef-driven restaurant in Hood River, Oregon, known for its farm-to-table ethic, a menu that changes daily, and award-winning Gorge wine list. <br>The Oregonian newspaper gave the restaurant a rare A- and said "Nora's has turned the gorge from a geological statement into a cuisine." TripAdvisor rates it the Number One Hood River restaurant. <br>Hood River is the center of the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic area, and Oregon's second best-known wine scene, after the Willamette Valley. <br>"Our menu is created almost entirely from the food shed around our iconic Mt. Hood. All our beef, lamb and pork come from our local ranches, and what our farmers bring us each day drives what goes on our menu," says chef and owner Kathy Watson. "Right down to our ketchup, mustard and mayonnaise, bread, pasta, crackers and pickles, it's all hand-made by our great crew. We love bringing the best of the Gorge to our plates."

"My wife and I are from New York and we frequent high-end restaurants in NYC often. After a very pleasant evening at Nora's Table, I am pleased to report that the New York City restaurants have absolutely nothing over this very fine establishment with an excellent kitchen. The menu at Nora's Table is far from vast, yet it is diverse with many interesting dishes. The kitchen does an excellent job preparing the meals and the presentation at the table is wonderful. Service is professional and yet low-key. When I return to Hood River, I will definitely be making a dinner reservation here."

"Perry's Steakhouse is a Chicago Steak joint, and being from New York I expected much better. The food was salty, my filet was only fair at best and the side dishes were not at all amazing. When I return to Chicago I will have a better experience elsewhere."

Onegin is where you'll go when your usual palace just isn't opulent, caviar-y or crazy enough. You'll find smoked sturgeon by crystal-chandelier light. House-infused honey-pepper vodka from a bar made of 200-year-old Ukrainian birch. And borscht. Delivered to your red velvet throne by butler-jacket-wearing waiters. <br> <br> Whether you head to the aforementioned bar, or past 19th-century carriage seats and into the brocade dining room, all roads lead to vodka. Available in a carafe, a cocktail or the spiked fisherman's soup (next-level comfort food). <br> <br> The rest of the menu comes courtesy of the city's only operational Russian pechka, a wood-burning furnace that would have once been used to heat a czar's castle. Now, it'll heat your quail on a stick. <br> <br> And while you wait between courses of pike caviar and pork belly pâté, you'll read Pushkin, his sketches and passages from secret journals have been etched around the restaurant in goose feather quill.

Piora, which means “to blossom” in Korean, is the collaboration between proprietor Simon Kim and Chef Christopher Cipollone that pays homage to their Korean and Italian heritages and reflects their passion for creating dining experiences that are refined yet unexpected. Cipollone’s delicately presented Modern American dishes capture the robust flavors of the season’s ingredients. Composed by Sommelier Kyle Ridington, Piora’s 300 label wine list is constantly evolving with a concentration in small production wines from primarily France, Italy and United States. Nestled in the West Village on Hudson Street, Piora’s intimate dining room, featuring leather tables and unpolished marble, overlooks a serene private garden.<br />

"My wife and I dined at Piora last evening and we left the restaurant knowing that we would return soon. The restaurant is very pretty with a long well stocked bar and then a very attractive dining room that looks out into a beautifully lit garden area. The service is professional and very competent and our meal was excellent. The menu is small, but very diverse and creative. My wife and I will return to sample some of the dishes that we did not get to enjoy last evening. This is a real gem in the West Village ...."

"Six of us had dinner at Chelsea Ristorante last week. This restaurant serves very good and consistent Italian cuisine, which is always dependable. In addition they have a wood burning oven which enhances several of their dishes. This restaurant gets five stars from me because they make it very special. From the moment one enters the restaurant, he is treated professionally and warmly. Everyone who works there goes out of their way to make you feel right at home. There is a great old bar and plenty of space to enjoy an evening with fine Italian food, a good wine list and excellent service (I should also mention that it is a true bargain in New York City) .... Thank you Chelsea Ristorante for a wonderful evening."
