"My wife and I went to DSG for lunch during restaurant week. We both had Matzo Ball soup. She a reuben and I had corned beef sandwich. We had sorbet for dessert. The soup was wonderful. We both like soft matzo balls. The sandwiches were also outstanding. They both a half pound of food. Dessert was light. The DSG has very good food. One does not have to travel to the far corners of Montgomery County to have good deli food. The service was also outstanding. It was very attentive. We plan to return here with some frequency."

"I wife and I attended Bistro Cacao for dinner during restaurant week. The food is French. We both had salads. She had a filet mignon and I had the duck. We both had desserts with chocolate as part of it. The food was outstanding. The service was also outstanding. I heartily recommend Bistro Cacao for any occasion or just for a very, very good meal at any time. We plan to return to Bistro Cacao again in the not too distant future."

Rasika, which is derived from Sanskrit meaning "flavors,” is the award-winning modern Indian restaurant owned by Ashok Bajaj. Leading the kitchen is Group Executive Chef Vikram Sunderam, a 2012 nominee for Best Chef Mid-Atlantic from the James Beard Foundation. Rasika has consistently earned four stars in the coveted Dining Guide of The Washington Post, and is in the top tier of Washingtonian magazine’s annual “100 Best.” Esquire magazine named it among the country’s best new restaurants in 2008 and Food & Wine magazine also stated that Rasika is “One of the hottest restaurants in the world.” Rasika showcases authentic Indian fare prepared on the Tawa (griddle), Sigri (open barbeque), as well as Tandoori and regional dishes. The restaurant is also noted for its international wine list, innovative cocktails and intimate, plush dining room. For private dining, Rasika has an exclusive space that can seat up to 16 guests and a semi-private area for up to 28.

"Three of us went to Rasika West for restaurant week lunch. We had three different main dishes. They were salmon, lamb and chicken. They were prepared with great care and they were wonderful to eat. They were lightly spiced and caused no discomfort in their eating. The appetizers and desserts were also wonderful. The service was outstanding. I would recommend Rasika West to any and all diners. They cannot go wrong eating here. It is truly one of the top restaurants in Washington."
