"Four adults on a Snowy Saturday night-prime time 7pm. The atmosphere was warm, friendly and inviting. Our host greeted us in Italian and we were seated promptly after meeting our friends, who were waiting for us in the cute bar area. Let's just say we loved the food, once it finally arrived. I ordered a salad, and no one else ordered apps. We waited about 45 minutes for our entrees, and my husband's salmon was room temp, at best. Apologies were offered after a while, nothing else. Luckily we enjoyed each other's company, and weren't enroute to a movie, theater, etc."

Tucked away in Wilton's quaint Cannondale Village overlooking the babbling Norwalk river, the restaurant is located inside a schoolhouse built just after the civil war in 1872. The completely renovated and stylish interior reflects the elegant and thoughtful cuisine of Chef Tim LaBant whose focus is on searching out the finest ingredients from both local CT farms and exceptionally passionate farmers from around the nation.

"Lovely spot- we have always enjoyed dining there. This was our first visit for dinner, other times were for weekend lunches when the place was not packed. Since this was a prix fixe vegetarian night, it got our attention. My biggest complaint was the noise level. If you are unlucky enough to be seated next to a table with children (!) and a heli-mother whose voice "projects" you may not enjoy your dinner, no matter how tasty. The restaurant was full, and since it is so small, there's no escaping loud talkers. The food was very special and we enjoyed it- there is hope for us foodie centric vegetarians. The toffee dessert was rather ho hum- almost like a bland muffin. We shall return"
