Tanta is dedicated to sharing the flavors and culture of Peru with Chicago, serving authentic Peruvian dishes and beverages in an approachable, fun and casual downtown setting. We provide service that is casual yet knowledgeable, genuine and attentive, utilizing locally sourced products and vendors that are sensitive to sustainable farming and fishing.<br /><br />Tanta has two Chef’s Tables that each seat up to 8 people. These tables are located in our main dining room in between our open kitchen and ceviche bar which allows you and your guests to experience our chefs creating Peruvian cuisine while you dine.<br /><br />The menu, created by Acurio and Tanta Chicago Chef Jesus Delgado, takes diners on a voyage through Peru via its food. From the Pacific Ocean, through the Andes, to the desert, to the Amazon, Tanta celebrates the diverse landscape and ethnicities that make up Peru’s culture.

"We had a very late dinner here on a Saturday night. Our server was excellent in helping us figure out what would be best for our group, everything was delicious and the pisco sours were perfect. Even if you're not interested in ceviche, the pulpo/octopus, street food sampler and the churrasco tanta were all incredible. Highly recommend for something a little different!"

Caution! There's a party inside! DS Tequila Company offers the best in burgers, tacos, tequila and FUN! Our hand blended burgers are made from 100% Allen Brothers Prime Beef and our signature flour tortillas are made from scratch everyday in our kitchen. This might be comfort food, but it's not fast food! Eat alone at the bar or come in with a huge group. We can accommodate parties of up to 30 people at one table. Party packages are also available for bigger events. Specials like our half off all food Mondays and events like our famous Wednesday night trivia are sure to keep you full and entertained every night of the week.

OUTDOOR SEATING IS NOT GUARANTEED.<br /><br />Homestead is a literal farm-to-table restaurant featuring rustic, yet elegant cuisine from executive chef Chris "Chip" Davies; specialty cocktails, wines, spirits, and beers from beverage director Benjamin Schiller; and desserts and breads from executive pastry chef Chris Teixeira. <br /><br />The rooftop patio of Homestead features 80 outdoor seats with full views of our L-shaped 1,000-square foot organic rooftop farm and two massive vertical hanging gardens.<br /><br />The light-filled second-floor interior air-conditioned room at Homestead features an additional 60 seats at tables and another 12 seats at the bar.

"beautiful space, great food, knowledgeable servers. The only slightly negative thing we experienced was when my friend ordered the sweet breads as her main course from the Restaurant Week menu, it was very small and not really "entree size" at all. I completely recommend this place overall, though. The food runners were awesome about explaining what everything was as it came out, and everything we had was delicious."

The Bristol offers a locally-sourced and seasonal menu designed by Chef Chris Pandel. The diverse menu includes bar snacks, daily specials, a rotating chalkboard menu featuring nose-to-tail cooking, charcuterie and 5th Quarter offerings focusing on sustainable foodstuffs.<br />
