Arucola, a rustic Italian restaurant which is nestled in the heart of Chevy Chase , DC has become a neighborhood favorite. Offering an authentic Italian experience to patrons on every visit, from the homemade pasta and breads to the wood burning pizza oven, and even the décor, you will feel as if you have just traveled to Italy . The menu changes daily, offering diners a fresh selection of pastas, meat and fish. Arucola also offers a selection of wood burning oven pizzas, variety of salads including our namesake Arucola, and an array of daily appetizers which include a selection from the marinated antipasto trolley, to daily creations.

"Although we've lived in the neighborhood for some time now, we had never tried Arucola Oseria (and one of our neighbors had recommended it to us as well). We decided to try it out one evening mid-week for dinner. It was extremely quiet and although staff were friendly, the interior looked a bit dated. we sat at a table and next to us on the floor was a very old (and perhaps broken) electrical socket sticking out of the wall. We started with a caprese salad and stuffed calamari, followed by the fish special and mussels. The food was decent -- neither particularly fresh or amazing, but also not bad. Our bill, including a beer and glass of wine, topped over $100, so to be honest we probably won't return as didn't feel the price met the quality. Service, however was very good and attentive."

Farmers Fishers Bakers is a full service upscale casual restaurant with an in-house bakery, sushi bar, full bar with 24 beer taps, and patio with water views. We support the American Family Farm along with made-from-scratch food, delicious hand crafted drinks, and green practices all around.

The restaurant is upscale casual, which welcomes business casual dress, and dress that would be appropriate in a nice restaurant; this includes jeans and athletic wear, and warm-weather clothing, including shorts.

"Ate lunch at Terasol with a work colleague and because we were pressed for time, we didn't indulge in starters or dessert. We both had lemonade and iced tea, followed by a salmon nicoise salad and quiche Lorraine. Overall the food was very good. It would have been nice to have some green salad served with the quiche Lorraine (instead it was served with a potato salad and some pickles vegetables, but overall we enjoyed ourselves and the prices were reasonable. The restaurant was nearly empty for lunch (we arrived at 11:30), so service was prompt and friendly."

"Ate lunch with a colleague and we were able to sit outside and enjoy the sun which was great. Service was lovely -- while we didn't order starters, our mango sodas were delicious and our mains (a goat's cheese tart and crazy corn salad) were fresh and well prepared. Always good at Founding Farmers Montgomery County and we'll return again."

"Met another couple for Saturday dinner at Ripple. We started at the bar and enjoyed some lovely red wine. Sat down for dinner and really enjoyed the homemade and fresh corn bread. We did not order starters, but our mains included duck breast, monkfish and two small plates (chilled crab soup and heirloom tomatoes with ricotta, cashews and peaches). We then shared some cheeses, which were totally disappointing! Not because of taste but because you pay $5 for two teeny tiny slices of cheese! Ridiculous. We paid over $30 for the most pathetic cheese plate, not cool. Everything else was good."
