The only thing primitive about Wildfish Seafood Grille is the swimmingly fresh seafood -- mostly caught the day before and shipped next day on ice. Otherwise, this cosmopolitan bistro is as sophisticated as any fine eatery in New York or Vegas. Burnished wood, dim theatrical lighting, cozy tables, a stylish exhibition kitchen and central bar with several TVs available to catch the game embellish the interior. Veteran restaurateurs Guy Villavaso and Larry Foles (Z'Tejas, Eddie V's Edgewater Grille) have created a fierce seafood-steakhouse combination, which attracts food-loving couples, ladies on a luxurious night out and sexy singles at the bar. Because Wildfish is not as wallet-busting as similar concepts in the area, go ahead and start with a spicy lump crab cake surrounded in a buttery remoulade sauce. If you're in the mood for steak, pick a finely aged filet, rib eye or veal chop.

"Our friends haven't experienced Wildfish before and were impressed with the creativity, service (thanks Drew), taste, atmosphere and value. The fried oysters actually have flavor and are remarkably tender. The bread hot and crusty. The crab stuffed shrimp was toasty outside, meaty and succulent inside. The portions were generous. My Ahi Tuna had a bite to it. The scallops are golden brown and moist. The salads and sides are perfect for sharing (even the small portions). Every dish had it's own unique signature taste. Order the banana's foster ahead of time. It comes with cinnamon ice cream. Tip ask for a scoop of vanilla bean too!"

In the English tradition, afternoon tea is served daily in the Lobby Tea Court. Consistently voted "Best Afternoon Tea" by the Phoenix New Times and Arizona Republic readers, full tea includes finger sandwiches, scones with Devonshire cream and preserves, pastries and a selection of fine blends. Classical music provides a charming backdrop for a relaxing afternoon break. A Gluten-Free menu is available with advance notice.

"Thank you to Wanda and Natalie for making our New Years Day afternoon tea a very enjoyable experience for our party of 9. You always make us feel welcome and appreciated and your service is exceptional. The atmosphere is light, bright and happy. Table settings are welcoming yet elegant. The live piano music is muted, rich and comforting. Tea selections are plentiful, sandwiches all have distinctive flavors, scones are to die for and the assorted pastries are to be slowly savored. Bottomless champaign and tea refills add to the exceptional value. We allow 3 hours to leisurely take it all in and enjoy the moments one by one."

"We walked to Kincaid's after the Symphony and enjoyed a wonderful meal in a relaxing environment with sufficient mood lighting. The salmon and barley was great. Surf and Turf was cooked to perfection with 3 huge prawns that were tender and meaty. Desert is sure to please the senses too."

"Our Friends haven't been to the District before and was very surprised that a 'hotel' downtown would have creative american dishes and a good choice of V and GF options.
The pre-theater/symphony specials are a great value. We selected the salmon and short-ribs stroganoff with chop salads and house wine. Because we had time, we added desert. We are downtown often and will be back as the District is fast becoming a favorite.

"We frequent Seasons 52 often but this was the first time for a holiday...Thanksgiving.
The food and service lived up to the great expectation. The special Thanksgiving menu was more than enough. However, the back banquet room was a little noisy due to the families with children. But it was Thanksgiving! Overall it is still a pleasure.

Already an iconic downtown Phoenix landmark, the bar at The Arrogant Butcher is one of the only places where sports fans and theater-goers can enjoy a burger and a beer next to some of Arizona’s top politicians. Behind the drawn curtains of the three private dining rooms, one may find bachelorettes toasting former freedoms, important legislation being discussed, or pre-concert parties warming up for the night’s big event. The Arrogant Butcher offers you the best of everything – seafood, steaks, draft beer, wine and cocktails, comfort food and good company. So if you’re looking for downtown’s only place to be seen, look no further than the corner of Jefferson and 1st.

Look no further than the Arrogant Butcher.

"We know enough to always make a reservation even if it is just and hour before visiting.
Service is great and friendly. This is our 6th time there and each time I ordered a different salad. Still not sure which is my favorite! The sweet potato tortelli is rich, smooth and buttery. The crab stuffed chicken won't make you crabby at all and you'll feel just under stuffed regarding portion size. Next time i'm going for the pork carnita's. The mussels in white wine with garlic and crusty bread was spicy and wonderful. The crusty bread alone is worth the trip! By the way, thank you Jennifer (our server sat) for your patience and not rushing us out. We had a great meal.

"What i enjoy besides the food is the various age groups that frequent Southern Rail. As for the food, I can never leave without ordering the fried green tomatoes. This time I tried the salmon and it was crispy and sweet. The pork loin is still the best value regarding portion size and presentation. Top it all off with bread pudding and aromatic coffee and the night is complete. Thanks again Beckett!"

Chef Justin Beckett brings together what matters to him most: family, friends and honest, incredible food. With considerable help from his partners and longtime friends Scott and Katie Stephens and his wife Michelle, Beckett has created an irresistible hangout for his discerning Arcadia/Biltmore neighbors, people who expect comfort and sophistication in equal measure and get it here.

The same grounded approach is evident on the menu, which emphasizes Seasonal American Cooking in dishes such as Creamy Grits and Spicy Andouille Sausage with mustard jus, Pork Osso Buco Confit with spinach pancetta spaetzle , or Fork Tender Short Ribs with creamy mashed potatoes, sautéed veggies, red wine reduction.

Factor in the inviting bar, roomy patio and community table, and it gets even easier to follow the Beckett's Table mandate: Come Together.

"We received an invitation to Celebrate Beckett's 4th birthday featuring a special 4 course beer pairing menu. The courses were unique, creative and just delicious featuring Az Four Peaks beers. Who knew that pumpkin, orange and chocolate go together so well. Or Kim Che is a great compliment to crispy pork belly. 3 of the 4 of us ordered the birthday special and was very delighted in sharing a special meal. The 4th ordered his favorite fork tender short ribs and veggie chop salad. Everyone left happy."

"Little Cleo's offers up the best selection of seafood we have seen on any other Phoenix menu. The Shrimp Po'boy was fantastic and a must try. The medium shrimp are lightly coated/fried, plump and tasty offset by marinated onion on a crispy crust hero and a side of slaw. Sweet corn puree, fava beans and mushrooms made the light and smooth flavor of the wild salmon bloom. $1 Oysters were very tasty with just a little lemon. No need to cover them up with cocktail sauce or horseradish. My squid ink pasta with mussels topped the list for me because it's hard to find this dish done right. We will be back for more. Pure, simple, creative and outstanding."
