La Plazuela was the hotel’s original 1920s patio and it retains that sunlit Old World charm. Skylights flood the dining room with natural light and handsome carved furnishings, artisanal lighting, and our much-loved hand painted windows create a beautiful, inviting room to gather, to dine and to make memories in. The menu was crafted to showcase old favorites with New World influences and authentic New Mexican cuisine, and our award-winning wine list is exceptional. La Plazuela at La Fonda on the Plaza is Santa Fe’s gathering place. Come dine with us!

"We had breakfast and a dinner at La Plazuela and both meals were satisfactory. Nothing really stands out...I felt as if we were eating in an afterthought, it's hard to explain. If you wanted to try the restaurant I would recommend going for lunch and saving dinner for other locations."

Opened in 2006 by Chef/Owner James Campbell Caruso (three-time James Beard Award Nominee), La Boca is an intimate Spanish tapas restaurant in the heart of downtown Santa Fe. Influenced by his travels in Spain, Chef James cultivates synergies of authentic Spanish ingredients to create dishes both traditional and modern. Dishes such as thinly sliced tuna drizzled with blood orange aioli and topped with kalamata olives and smoked sea salt create a constellation of different flavors in every bite.

With the feel of a lively European wine bar, La Boca also features an extensive selection of carefully chosen mediterranean and South American wines. Knowledgeable and animated staff graciously guide customers to the perfect wine or sherry to complement their meals.

La Boca is a proud participant in the Santa Fe Farm to Restaurant program.

Please note: Because seating at La Boca is limited, reservations for parties over 4 must contact the restaurant

"A great place to have a wonderful meal. Service was fantastic. It makes you feel like you are in Barcelona. Everything we ate was fantastic: tuna, mussels, salmon, olives, and a sausage dish. We asked our server her favorites and went from there. When we returned home to Austin we met a couple that live in Santa Fe and they agreed the best meal in Santa Fe."
