Let us transport you to Italia. North Beach's Italian heritage is delightfully expressed at Piazza Pellegrini. Owner Dario is almost always on hand to create, along with his staff, a warm and convivial atmosphere. Watch our chef prepare elegant cuisine right before your eyes. At Piazza Pellegrini, we understand that exquisite food is not only achieved by using the freshest ingredients but by capturing the essence of the source through authentic recipes. Try some of our many house made pasta dishes including Dungeness crab ravioli, fresh papardelle, and ricotta gnocchi. Enjoy traditional Italian foods in our contemporary Italian interior complete with al fresco dining and a welcoming wine bar. Visit us near Washington Square in North Beach and taste the difference!

At Padrecito we pride ourselves on creating a community atmosphere while serving culinary creations and libations utilizing the freshest of ingredients. At the core of our offering is a homage to original Mexican dishes made from scratch each day. House-made tortillas and sauces create a foundation for our ever seasonal menu. While unique and carefully crafted enchiladas and tacos have become house staples. We also take our tequila and beverages very seriously as we search out hand crafted and boutique distilleries to round out our over 60 in house tequilas and mescals. We pride ourselves on providing you a great experience and love what we do everyday.

"Dinner is amazing, I would pass on brunch a little to heavy and too salty."

A testament to the Bay Area's local bounty, Radius sources its ingredients from within a 100-mile radius of its SoMa neighborhood digs. This duo of casual cafe and full-service restaurant make an ideal lunch stop, drink haven, or destination dinner venue.

Fans of Hayes Valley favorite Mazzat can now welcome a new addition from owner Adam Chamsine, who's directed his penchant for Lebanese cuisine into a new project called Mazza Luna. The more upscale answer to Mazzat's family-friendly neighborhood vibe, Chamsine's new spot has a chic, loungy atmosphere and a focus on wine, beer and small plates.

Born in Lebanon and raised in Sweden, Chamsine makes use of family recipes in a dinner menu that features tapas such as fatet betnjan (fried eggplant topped with garlic yogurt sauce, pita croutons and pine nuts) and kibbeh (deep fried cracked wheat stuffed with ground beef and pine nuts, with garlic sauce). Hummus, babaganouge and falafel all appear on the small plates menu, which features nothing above $14. (See the full dinner menu here www.mazzaluna.com.)
