Experience the new db bistro moderne! Chef Daniel Boulud's contemporary French bistro has undergone a complete renovation. With the addition of a handsome new cocktail bar, and a newly-crafted menu db bistro serves updated bistro classics with a modern twist and market-driven French-American cuisine.

Located one block East of Times Square, db bistro is the perfect spot for pre- and post-theater dining, a Midtown business lunch or breakfast 'L'Express' of cappuccino and viennoisserie at the bar. A $48 pre-theater prix-fixe dinner menu is available in addition to a full a la care menu. The Lunch Prix Fixe menu will have you back to your desk of off to a matinee quickly and affordably.

DB is happy to host large parties and private events from 14-165 guests.

"db Bistro moderne seems to have lost its touch. We had lunch last Sunday and were unimpressed by the lack of flavors in the classic dishes we have enjoyed there for many years, including the Burger (looked nice but no flavor), the Blanquette de Veau (dry and underwhelming), the beet salad with quinoa (completely "confused" in terms of flavors), etc. A real disappointment as this has been one of our favorite bistros in the City. To make matters worse, the service was mediocre at best and could have been at any NYC diner. Mr Boulud, please fix it. We want our old Bistro moderne back!"

Co-Owners Brian Piccini and Executive Chef Christopher Coombs are proud of their award winning Restaurant & Bar, Deuxave in the Back Bay. The inspiration behind the restaurant’s American Nouveau Cuisine is seasonality, with a focus on working with the finest farms and purveyors, sourcing out the freshest, local ingredients and amplifying their magnificence. The cuisine is strongly rooted in the nouvelle techniques of contemporary French cuisine, married with the splendor of American ingredients in a refined, but casual setting. Deuxave’s (pronounced doo-ave) name plays homage to its location at the corners of Commonwealth Ave and Massachusetts Ave.

"This is a wonderful restaurant specializing in modern French & Continental cuisine, matched by beautiful decor, wine list and service. The duo of Carpaccio and Beef Tartare, as well as the coriander crusted Tuna were outstanding!"

"Lithos is by far the best Greek and Mediterranean restaurant in NJ. It is on par with the best in NYC and as authentic as Greece. Don't miss this wonderful dining experience. The Mezze and the Fresh Fish are not to be missed."

"Rare is a good, not great, Steakhouse. Our appetizers took over an hour to arrive, our steaks were on the overcooked side and the service was OK at best. Much improvement is required for it to rival many of the better NJ Steakhouses such as Roots, Rod's, etc. The only highlight was the Manager, who was very understanding and did his best to make it a nice evening for our group."

"Mompou Tapas is a wonderful addition to the Newark dining scene. The covered patio in the back is a gem, augmented by excellent service and a full bar and great beer list. The Flank Steak Sandwich, Chicken Meatballs, Stuffed Peppers and Grilled Octopus were outstanding."

STK artfully blends two concepts into one—the modern steakhouse and a chic lounge. A large central lounge area is furnished with creamy leather banquettes and textured crocodile tiles, and is surrounded by an elevated dining room for more formal dining. Theatrical lights illuminate each table, while a DJ creates an energetic vibe throughout the entire space. STK Midtown is located in Midtown Manhattan, just steps from the bustling Theatre District. STK Midtown includes an outdoor patio and separate bar during summer months. As anticipated, steak is the main attraction. With a female-friendly mindset, STK offers small, medium and large cuts of meat, as well as naturally raised options and market fresh fish entrees. Aside from steak, signature items include Parmesan Truffle Fries; Lil’ BRGs; Shrimp Rice Krispies; Sweet Corn Pudding; and Jump Lump Crab Salad.

The name Ursino was inspired by the rich history of the colonial era Liberty Hall Estate (previously called Ursino), located on what is now part of the Kean University campus. The estate boasts a 4.5 acre farm, from which we harvest many of the ingredients used on our menu. Chef Peter Turso and his staff use these ingredients to create a menu that embraces Modern American cuisine. We also support local producers as much as possible; not only in our menu selections, but in our wine, beer and cocktail offerings too.
Our goal is to provide a memorable, quality dining experience for every guest that arrives at our door. With knowledgeable and attentive service, along with expertly prepared food second to none, we aspire to be considered by our guests as one of the top restaurants in New Jersey.
