Rhubarb, at the heart of Asheville on Pack Square, is a comfortable place for friends, families and strangers to simply lean in and enjoy the company-a place where food and drink is at its uncomplicated best. Chef John Fleer, a three time James Beard nominee for Best Chef Southeast has created a menu inspired by seasonal, local ingredients and pays homage to the bounty of regional and American cooking. A wood-fired oven and grill complement the rustic creations. Wine selections are entirely ecological and sustainable. The bar pays tribute to the early 20th century cocktail culture.

Sunday Supper, a three-course meal served at the Rhubarb family tables, is served each Sunday at 6:30. The Sunday Supper menu will be different from the regular restaurant menu and will reflect the bounty of the weekend markets presented family style. A local guest farmer will host our weekly convivial community tables. For Sunday Supper Reservations please call at 828-785-1503.

"I went for restaurant week lunch. I had 3 nice little courses. The highlight was the pork sandwich. 3 layers. From the top down cole slaw, pork and toast. No knife needed.
The room is urban cool. Nicely done in muted shades with enough patchy stucco to make it seem like they have been there longer than they have. I was sitting right next to the kitchen and the noise level was still low. It was a rainy day so we didn't have many diners but I would guess it's quiet even when full."

Red Stag Grill offers Asheville’s finest dining with the freshest local ingredients, personally selected at nearby farms by our chef. Featuring contemporary European comfort food, Red Stag Grill is sumptuous, rustic hunting lodge meets modern-chic sensibility. After dinner, sip a signature martini or cocktail in the Red Stag Grill lounge and bar area and be entertained by local musicians.

"For $15 you get to see what's on offer. I had trout and a trifle for dessert. Both were very good. I was dining alone. Many places send you to the bar but they gave me a choice table.
The room is so filled with antlers that vegans may feel queasy but given the name of the place what do you expect? It feels quite luxe because it is."
