"super tasty and you don’t need to be a vegan to enjoy this! coconut meat was the perfect consistency for ceviche, gorditas excellent, tacos, everything was delicious!
courtyard dining is always nice, but the excellent food made it a place worth returning to regardless
we arrived at 5:30 and by 6:30 it was already pretty filled up - on a sunday night

"Spicy tuna on crispy rice mini-patties, marinated cooked mushroom dish - those are my favorites. It's a bit pricey for what it is; there's a better place up the street without ambience if it's amazing food you're after. But the look of Katsuya and the wonderful service make it a nice choice for special occasions, dates..."

Farmshop, opened in 2010, is a Restaurant and an Artisanal Market & Bakery located in the historical 1948 Brentwood Country Mart on 26th Street in Santa Monica. <br /><br />Jeff Cerciello's cuisine focuses on seasonal local ingredients. Irene Verbila from the LA Times wrote " Sunday nights at Farmshop are devoted to fried chicken… it's the best...but the bird I'm nominating as one of the 10 Best Meals is Cerciello's organic roasted chicken...golden and crisp, the flesh dense yet moist, each bite was better than the last."<br /><br />In addition to highlighting fresh local produce, Farmshop offers a 300 choice California-centric wine list, a market with curated cheeses, charcuterie, artisanal foods and housewares, all an homage to the many California based farmers, producers and purveyors we are proud to showcase.

"Never disappointing - and the servers are all well-familiar with the various selections so can answer any questions for picky eaters ;-)
Not to be missed: Weiser Farm roasted potatoes - de riguer table share order!
Most appreciated here are the quality ingredients used. Preparation is also superb.

Tavern is the third restaurant from the chef and sommelier team of Suzanne Goin and Caroline Styne, who also own Lucques restaurant and AOC winebar. This is their West Los Angeles outpost, which serves as a local gathering spot for the Brentwood crowd. Chicly designed by Jeffrey Alan Marks, Tavern encompasses three separate, yet connected spaces: a glass roofed atrium dining room, a large blue walled bar and a café space called the Larder that features casual dining, bakery, retail and prepared foods to go. The restaurant serves Suzanne Goin’s signature California/Mediterranean cuisine with just a touch of a classic American influence.
