Operated by the award-winning Big Night Entertainment Group, Empire is a 14,000-square-foot boutique Asian restaurant and lounge located in the Seaport area of Boston, just steps from the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. Empire offers a tantalizing menu from executive Chef Kevin Long (Tosca, Shrine, Red Lantern, GEM, Scorpion Bar), stylized interior and ethereal atmosphere that will transport guests to another world. With a capacity of 600 guests and three 40-seat private dining rooms that open up to one large private event space, Empire can accommodate groups of all sizes for receptions and seated dinners.

"food was delicious, especially lobster cupcakes and the spicy shrimp sushi dish. love the drinks here. After dinner, stayed on to hang by the bar, people watch, and dance, definitely will come back soon."

'According to both the Boston Herald and the Boston Globe, the Back Bay Social Club will be opening in the old Vinny T's spot on Boylston Street, which is between Fairfield and Gloucester Streets and across from the Prudential Center and the Hynes Convention Center. The Herald mentions that the restaurant will have a capacity of 200 and will be open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Lyons Group, which is behind the Summer Shack, La Verdad, House of Blues, Kings, and a number of other Boston-area spots, is also behind the opening of the Back Bay Social Club.'-Boston Restaurant Talk

Welcome to Masa, where the Southwest meets the South End. For over a decade we've been spicing up the palates of Boston's most sophisticated diners and serving up libations to the hip bar crowds from the South End, Back Bay, and Theater District. Our menu pairs the flavors and cooking styles of a Southwestern kitchen with fresh New England ingredients. Combine this with our carefully selected wine and tequila lists or our original award-winning cocktails and Margaritas to put the finishing touches on a memorable evening that feels like a short trip to Santa Fe.

For information about Private Events, please see our website below.

"Love Masa, one of my favorite South End spots. I went for brunch, all was good, service was on point, prices are very reasonable. Two things--I wish they had fresh squeezed juice. I can buy Tropicana at home--I don't need to pay $3 for 5 oz of it. I'd happily pay more for the same amount of fresh squeezed. Also, they have a prix-fixe brunch menu which looked very tasty, but I didn't see anywhere on their menu that they only service this until 11am. After I ordered it and the server told me I couldn't since it was past 11, I looked for a note indicating this, but didn't see it. This was a small thing and didn't negatively affect the meal--I would definitely go back."

"I've been here many times and each time I was wowed by the view, service, food, and reasonable prices. Sadly, this time did not match previous visits on any front. I made a reservation for my birthday and was very excited as this restaurant is one of my favorites. I waited for a table when I arrived, which is fine but after they seated us, we had the worst table in the house, back corner of a back room and away from the window. Right after we sat down, two window tables got up; it's hate to anticipate that, but it was a bummer. Our server was fine, so no issue there. Food was not nearly as good as usual. Lobster tasted old. Only plus was the view which we couldn't see well and my dinner guest. I'd recommend for the view and drinks only."
