"We felt like we had been transported to France! The mussels were sublime. Save the airfare and splurge on a nice bottle of wine."

A farm to table American restaurant with a focus on seafood. Our menus change daily to reflect the best of what the markets have to offer and allows us to feature the work of many local artisans, growers and fishermen. A three course seafood tasting menu is always available. Jeremy and Lisa Sewall created Lineage Restaurant"s concept. We are a married couple with extensive culinary experience and deep New England roots. Located in the heart of Coolidge Corner, Brookline, Massachusetts, the name "Lineage" is based on Jeremy's own. In 1705, when this "Muddy River" hamlet of Boston became incorporated, Samuel Sewall, son of Judge Sewall of Salem Witch Trials fame, lent the community his services as the first Town Clerk and, it is thought, the name of his family's "Brooklin" lands, which lay between the Charles and Muddy Rivers.

"This venerable Coolidge Corner seafood restaurant surprised us with its understated, but attentive service, and absolutely fresh and delicious seafood specialties.
It seems to fly below the foodie radar, but should be in the top 10 Boston area eateries.

Rowes Wharf Sea Grille is perfectly situated at the most picturesque spot along the Boston waterfront. Chef Daniel Bruce’s vision for the restaurant celebrates the sea—inventive seafood dishes artfully presented, and a contemporary space with design accents that mirror the ocean beyond the windows. For great food, harbor front views, lively conversation and an upscale yet comfortable atmosphere, look no further than Rowes Wharf Sea Grille, located at the Boston Harbor Hotel..

James Beard award-winning Chefs Mark Gaier and Clark Frasier of acclaimed Maine restaurants Arrows and MC Perkins Cove, bring to the Seaport District their newest restaurant: M.C. Spiedo. Inspired by the Italian Renaissance the menu reflects the Chefs’ passion for the old world flavors of Florence, Bologna and Venice, along with their focus on farm-fresh ingredients and contemporary cooking techniques. M.C. Spiedo offers three private dining rooms for events up to 20 guests, an antipasti bar, a mobile cart delivering small bites, an all Italian wine list and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
