"We love dining dockside and we love Kaluz for that very reason. When we're in town, we're there. The outside dining area has a great vibe and is chic, like an outdoor lounge. The menu has a lot of options whether you want appetizers, casual dining or more elaborate fare. We tried a few of the flatbreads, which are really tasty and are very sharable. The calamari app is delicious. Burger is good with the fixings. If you like salads, the one with the quinoa is terrific."

*Received 3 stars from the Sun-Sentinel* Paladar is a fresh, colorful and fun Latin American restaurant experience inspired by Central & South America, Cuba and the Latin Caribbean. With guidance from our warm and welcoming staff, our guests discover the bold flavors and vibrant cultures of Latin America. Our approachable menu features freshly prepared guacamole, slow roasted and grilled meats, fresh seafood and homemade salsas. The rhythm of Latin Music sets the tone at our unique rum bar that offers fresh muddled Mojitos, over 50 selections of Rum and an affordable and exciting wine list.

"While we love outdoor dining and Latin/Caribbean flavors, we wouldn't return to Paladar. We started out with the mussels appetizer. It happened to be very good and figured that if it was any indication, we were in for a great meal. My husband ordered the mixed grill and I had a jerk style chicken dish. His entree was definitely not worth the money for the portion size nor the very plain presentation. Mine was tasty, but that's about it. They have an interesting drink menu, but our two drinks each added to a final bill that would have been better spent elsewhere."

"We returned to Acorn for what is our 4th time for some favorites and new dishes. We tried the large plate chicken entree which was delicious and tender, plus some other favorites, like the meatballs, lamb shawarma, kale salad and a few others. We've always enjoyed our meal and the ambience at Acorn and look forward to returning. Don't miss Babette's amazing, outstanding bread - ask for it if they don't bring it!"

"We were so eager to try Acorn after hearing great things about this newcomer. Really interesting drink menu though we chose wine. Menu is mostly small plates. We started out with the kale and apple salad, a very generous portion - delicious with the added pecans. Got three more dishes - the lamb shawarma, a seafood over squid ink pasta - both outstanding and I think generous portions considering small plates. Lastly we ordered the short ribs, which came three over a polenta. They were tasty and tender enough to cut with a fork, though felt the portion was small comparatively. Overall, fabulous meal and we will definitely return!"
