Join us at The Mark Restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Jean-Georges Vongerichten brings his unbridled passion for market-fresh, simple cooking to The Mark Hotel, renovated and reopened in early 2010. The world-class menu features subtly innovative European classics blended with Jean-Georges’ signature global seasonings, and the wine collection,… showcased in a stunning copper and glass wall in the dining room, includes a range of both boutique and familiar food-friendly wines from around the world. The comfortably elegant dining room provides a warm and relaxed setting, fitting for both a neighborhood favorite and a connoisseur’s destination.

The dining room combines casual comfort and sophistication with touches that are both rough-hewn and refined. But the main attraction is the partly open kitchen’s rôtisserie ovens and their fine meats, poultry and fish turning over open flames. Abundant fresh vegetables, decadent potato dishes, heart-warming desserts, tempting cocktails & bites at the bar complete the picture. At lunch, we add generous main course salads and tempting pot pies. The soul-satisfying French-American comfort fare is prepared by Chefs Stephanie Abrams and Francisco Banco, complemented by the warm welcome of your host, Georgette Farkas. The “ROTISSERIE TABLE” private room seats ten.

"The rush the wait staff did was worse than bad. Served the salad and before we were finished, they brought the main course. When we sent it back, we were then treated to the arrogance of the restaurant, as they did not serve our main course on a timely basis."

Owner & Executive Chef Mark Freedman, formally of his critically acclaimed “Mark’s on Westover”, returned to the Triad's fine dining scene with "Mark's Restautant" in June of 2011, and has since forged Greensboro's best kept culinary secret. His lavish seasonal menu-featuring a diverse spread of unique small plates, distinctly crafted Entrees, and a wonderful selection of housemade desserts-reflects his French classical training; but, where Chef Mark distinguishes himself is through his heavy use of locally sourced & produced ingredients, and 30+ years of eclectic culinary experience.<br><br>.
