Owner & Executive Chef Mark Freedman, formally of his critically acclaimed “Mark’s on Westover”, returned to the Triad's fine dining scene with "Mark's Restautant" in June of 2011, and has since forged Greensboro's best kept culinary secret. His lavish seasonal menu-featuring a diverse spread of unique small plates, distinctly crafted Entrees, and a wonderful selection of housemade desserts-reflects his French classical training; but, where Chef Mark distinguishes himself is through his heavy use of locally sourced & produced ingredients, and 30+ years of eclectic culinary experience.<br><br>To complement the distinctive dining room, our Resident Mixologist has fashioned the most unique bar program in Greensboro through his local-centric sourcing of liquors, liqueurs, and ingredients; expansive 40+ craft cocktail & martini menu; highly-regarded wine cellar; and 4 craft beer draughts.

Morso is a culmination of a life in food and a passion for culinary excellence. Thirty years ago Pino Luongo, brought the then unfamiliar flavors and culture of authentic Tuscan cooking to New York City. With the essence of his homeland at heart and a truly original style of cooking, Luongo shaped the Italian menus and restaurants we consider as classics today. For Morso, his values and passion remain unchanged. Great, seasonal ingredients, skillfully prepared, shared with family and friends. At Bistro Vendome, our simple goal is to offer classic French recipes, some original, some with a modern twist, and to get our guests to fall in love with French cuisine all over again!<br />Bistro Vendome is located in an elegant tri-level townhouse featuring a mezzanine with a skylight, overlooking an outdoor terrace and a stylish and welcoming bar. With our 150 bottle wine list with 50 wines by the glass, Undercurrent has been recognized multiple years by both Wine Spectator and Wine Enthusiast. We have been rated consistently tops in our class of restaurants. The ambiance is truly one of the nicest in the area with big tables, nice chairs, and ample space for you while dining. We now have a truly fabulous patio area. We seat our patio on a "first come first served basis". Please comment in your reservation notes that you would prefer the patio if available and we'll do our best to accommodate, but it is best to come in early. A comfortable bar is available to begin your dining experience or to visit after you dine.
