Housed in Historic Naples Mercantile Building, Campiello offers inventive Italian cuisine inspired by a traditional Tuscan country cooking, with an open kitchen and many wood-roasted and rotisserie-grilled specialties. Join us for the "Italian Taste Tour" - a series of month long culinary salutes to Italy's greatest regions.<br />The restaurant features a lavish interior inspired by Michelangelo-designed Villa San Michele in Friesole, Italy-replete with Murano light fixtures, fine leather chairs and banquettes, polished Venetian plaster, and hand painted Florentine murals.

"There is a reason this restaurant is continually busy. The food is superb. I recommend the spicy calamari as an appetizer. The lamb tagliatelle is hearty, robust, and totally filling. We order it every time we go. Also love the scallops. Only negatives are the noise level (don't expect an intimate dinner on a weekend) and it gets a little hot inside so no need for a sweater. One of our Naples favorites."

"We had reservations for 6:30 on a Saturday night. The restaurant was already very busy, so I recommend reservations. We were greeted warmly and seated promptly. The atmosphere in the restaurant is lively. The bar is huge and unique as is the decor of the restaurant. However, it is very loud, so if you want to hear the people talking next to you, sit close. The sangria I had was really tasty as was the guacamole. However my husband and I were disappointed with the tacos. We both chose the "pick 3" option. I had the first three tacos on the menu which were fish, shrimp, and chicken. They were uninspiring and not anything I would recommend to friends. My husband felt the same way. Will try something else IF we return."

Tryst is a local restaurant with a neighborhood pub feeling. Our menu is inspired by the rich Bar culture of Europe, with an emphasis on seasonal, mostly local, farm fresh ingredients

"My husband and I went to Tryst for the first time last weekend. We ate inside at a table for two which was cozy but not uncomfortable. We started with the flatbread appetizer. It looked more like was a traditional single serving round pizza than the flatbreads I have had at other restaurants. It was surprisingly tasty and hubbie and I gobbled the whole thing. My scallops were cooked perfectly in a lovely mushroom sauce. My husband had the pork and said it was delicious, which means a lot since he tends to be very picky. Our server's name was TED, and he was really attentive and knowledgeable without being overbearing. He checked on us regularly and was quick to clean up the mess I made with water spilling on the table."
