"This was my second visit to Libertine, and it did not disappoint. Our group sampled various items on the menu, and enjoyed it all - feather steak, korean short ribs, avocado and crab, kale, artichokes, and more. The servers are very friendly and helpful, and really know the menu inside and out. Cocktails are sure tasty too - loved "The Shadow Knows". We will be back again."

"We really enjoyed the small plates here, and thought the menu was creative. Our server was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. Nice fun atmosphere at street level - we will be back."

"Loved loved this place! Food was great, service was super. Lots of options for Gluten Free diners also, Our table (2 adults/2 teenage boys) had the artichokes and prawns for starters; the point steak, bacon chop, ahi tuna, lamb and brie Lucy, and kale and baby potatoes for sides. More than enough food, but my kids still wanted dessert (which they loved). Cocktails were good, but not quite as good as other places in town. Wine is reasonably priced. Food arrives when it is ready (similar to Chino Latino) so the set up works great for sharing with the table (not that I ever got a bite of that ahi from my 16 year old though... We had a great server & all staff we came in contact knew the ins and outs of the menu well. We will be back!"

A smart and stylish restaurant and bar. Coup D'etat is ideal for groups large and small, it offers a private dining room and throughout the restaurant there are lounge areas, tables, and booths for smaller groups. The food is approachable, modern, and contemporary. The cocktail program is equally smart with reinterpretations of classic drinks as well as new creations.

"Went here for restaurant week, and enjoyed the menu. We were a bunch of high maintenance eaters (3 gluten free and 1 vegetarian!) and the waiter accommodated all of our needs. It is a huge space, hip and pretty loud. Not my usual type of place (I like smaller more intimate spots), but I can see how some people would really enjoy it. Good cocktails - loved the Dealers Choice where you allow the bartender to make something up for you. Corkage is $20."

"Nice good restaurant. Not totally out there food wise, but very well prepared dishes. Atmosphere is very nice, romantic and cozy. We had the wagyu flank steak and the filet and both were great. We had the serrano ham asparagus salad and it was great. I felt like we got a second glance when we ordered a glass of the cheapest wine (which we knew, and is awesome), but other than that, service was friendly and attentive."

"Saw some really good reviews about this place, but I must admit we were disappointed. They really tried to be creative and inventive, but sometimes it just didn't work. The redneck salads sounded great, but it really needed more than the sorbet for a dressing - it was dry and not as flavorful as it could be. We were seated in the main dining room, which I think would be nice in the winter. It was just so-so in the summer. food was good, just not as great as we had read. Gluten free friendly (GF menu available), so that is a big plus if you need it."
