PLEASE NOTE: *** AS OF TUESDAY, MARCH 18th, WE ARE PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THAT WE WILL BE OPERATING AS A POPUP DUBBED 'PASTERIA FLORIANA' PREVIEWING THE ITALIAN CUISINE OF CHEF DANIEL HLUSAK

Pulpo offers tapas inspired by modern Spanish gastronomical techniques as well as exotic seafood dishes and a dramatic, open test kitchen that pushes the boundaries of Modern American cuisine. Located in the District's historic Cleveland Park neighborhood, Pulpo's contemporary yet minimalist industrial décor is a unique and exciting addition to the neighborhood. In addition to the main dining room, Pulpo offers a more private dining experience on our mezzanine level which is can also accomodate large private functions. We offer an extensive international wine list, craft and molecular cocktails, and one of the larger offerings of DC's burgeoning brew scene.
"I was surprised to see all of the negative reviews/comments. I ordered two chard plates, the mushrooms, the salmon toast, meatballs, wheatberry bowl, and my fellow table members ordered the breakfast bowl, and several other dishes that they all seemed to enjoy. This place has a great location, great prices, a decent sized menu, and heaping helpings of alcohol. On top of our brunch drinks we did a couple of birthday shots of whiskey (it was 2pm at this point, don't judge us), and left happy, full and glad that we went.I would definitely go to Pulpo again for brunch. I am not going to sit here and say that they have the best food in town, but for 25$ the bottomless drinks and good food, and customer service cannot be beat."

"The food was delicious, all of it! All of our rolls were great, the sides were good, all the food I had at the bar (which was a lot), was wonderful. (bar food including but not limited to, the oyster shooters, the burger sliders, the ceviche, the tacos, several several drinks, like margaritas and beer and wine, and at the table we had sushi, the bread with the amazing butter (OMG), mac and cheese, salad, creme brulee, lemon meringue mini tart).
I would visit this place again for the food and the bar service. John and Stephen were lovely and welcoming. Thanks guys!"

The Arsenal is the 200-seat restaurant & bar housed within the brewery, Bluejacket. The menu, crafted by Executive Chef Kyle Bailey of Birch & Barley and ChurchKey and Chef de Cuisine Dan Hahndorf, updates, refines and extends the classic fare of beer halls and public houses by featuring the best locally sourced products available and highlighting house-made specialties such as charcuterie, fresh pastas, alongside whole-roasted meats, hearty grains and seasonal vegetables. A menu of gourmet sandwiches, house-ground burgers and bar snacks is the perfect accompaniment to a signature Bluejacket brew.

Rounding out the savory offerings at lunch and dinner is Pastry Chef Tiffany MacIsaac’s robust bread program, which includes breads made with spent grain from the brewery. Chef MacIsaac’s renowned desserts also grace the menu with a number of seasonal pies served with freshly spun ice creams.

"My husband and I had been dying to go here since they opened, but decided to wait a couple of months for the new kinks to work out and to celebrate my husband's 32nd birthday. His sister came in to visit and the three of us dined and drank at bluejacket. I had made reservations a month in advance. They sat us upstairs by the beautiful, industrial windows garnished with garland and we ordered many tasters to share and some delicious salads, a burger, deviled eggs and pickled items. So yum. We will return."

We do fine Mexican food. What else would you expect from your local country club? Our dinner menu will surprise you with unique classics from Mexico like duck in mole, ceviche, and tacos de carnitas. You can get flavorsome dishes for dinner any day after 5 pm. Come see what the excitement is all about.

"This was our 3rd or 4th time here, but this time we brought about 12 people! It was my husband's birthday and we wanted a place where you could do more than just drink (since we had a pregnant lady with us). The food was good and the games were fun."
