JackJodell's Reviews

The Blue Point is an upscale, fresh-only seafood restaurant, offering creatively prepared, chef-driven food in a contemporary atmosphere. We pride ourselves on our personable and attentive service, the freshness and quality of our food, and our award-winning wine selection. In addition, we have the best happy hour in town, boasting great deals on oysters and our sixteen ever-changing craft beers on tap. Stop in for a business lunch, family dinner or call to book your next large group function.

"Visited again for the umpteenth time, and the food and service were EXCELLENT as usual. The couple we were with enjoyed it too and said they will definitely be back again. Mary was a superb server: very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and attentive, and Corrie was a very friendly and professional manager. Their always fresh-caught fish can't be beat, and their Oysters Rockefeller (which I always get) were absolutely scrumptious once again. For my money, this is the best seafood restaurant in the Twin Cities. Hats off to the owners, kitchen staff, and servers - you are all top-notch!"

Welcome to Benihana and a dining experience unlike any other! If you’ve never been to Benihana before, let us tell you what you can expect: Our guests are seated at communal tables in groups of eight to ten, where your personal chef will perform the ancient art of Teppanyaki. Watch as we slice and dice, preparing a meal that will dazzle your eyes as well taste buds, whether you choose mouth-watering steak, tender chicken or succulent seafood.

Or you can visit our sushi lounge where a talented sushi chef will prepare the freshest sashimi, maki and signature sushi rolls with the same flair that made Benihana a legend in Japanese cuisine. Smaller tables and more intimate seating is available in the lounge or bar on a first-come, first-served basis, whether you’re looking to enjoy one of our delicious Benihana Teppanyaki entrées or our amazing selection of sushi!
