"I have a critical crew of 5 star restaurants and this one did not disappoint. Many friends and business associates told me that we must try Trento and we are happy that we finally did. The wine service, prompt honoring of the reservation, vibrant and informed waitress all led up to outstanding salads. The swordfish was ridiculous, the rack of lamb and the the rib eye rivaled great steakhouses. Then I was blown away by a fresh outstanding take on a creme filled Napolean. We will be back."

"we came for dinner. Good place to eat while shopping. Small portions (tapas joint) so you end up ordering quite a few dishes. Almost all were good. A few came cooler than desired. Dessert and wine were great. With drinks and dessert tally was about $38 per person and we were all full. I will go back again with a new perspective and insight on the menu.
BTW manager took care of us with the cooler than desired entree. No complaints.

After developing a loyal, steady following first in Merrick, then in Long Beach, Nick's was forced to close after Hurricane Sandy. We have now brought our food and talents to the lovely village of Mineola. Nick's Tuscan Grill is an intimate setting, with the focus on exceptional food and service. Portions are hearty and the prices are reasonable. We guarantee you will not leave here unsatisfied OR hungry!

"The drinks are always outstanding at Nick's/ This time they had an artichoke special for an appetizer which was perfect, the clams oreganata were also perfect. The bread even had great crust and a soft chewy center. My veal chop was outstanding with a superb coating, my wife's steak was blissful. The crème brulee cheesecake and the smores Panini were also very good. The host Nick couldn't be more accommodating!"

"My friend and I shared Edamame with Spicy chili oil, which was different and added a nice kick. the drinks were generous.
She had the roasted beet salad and I have the roasted eggplant salad, both were asian influenced and delicious.
We wanted to eat lite so we shared three maki rolls. The spicy tuna, yellowtail and shrimp were all very good, the tuna was the outstanding winner. We had a great time with a great waiter. $50 each and we were happy.

Bottlefork, from Rockit Ranch Productions partners Billy Dec, Brad Young and Arturo Gomez, and former Four Seasons Executive Chef Kevin Hickey, is a comfortably stylish New American bar and kitchen offering modern interpretations of both familiar and new American dishes that feature local and global ingredients. The food and beverage programs work together seamlessly at Bottlefork with an emphasis on all things seasonal.

"While in Chicago we kept trying new places. We had a reservation but when it started to rain, I looked for a closer reservation and lucked out and found Bottlefork. The palce was packed so my reservation was a find.
Great wine list with an outstanding waiter who knew his stuff. We chose to do tastings with Wagyu Beef Jerky and Devil Eggs our first choices. Both were enlightening. The sweetbreads stood up and sang, the pork belly needed a little extra kick but still satisfied. We were directed toward the Lobster Roll which could have been done in Maine except for the outstanding Brioche it was on.
All in all we enjoyed and will be back

"We were so happy to hear that Nick's moved from Long Beach to Mineola. We have been frequenting his Tuscan Grill often. Nick and Carol are great hosts and servers. The wine list, drinks, and all of the food are tasty and cooked perfectly. My Lobster Risotto was chock full of seafood and a nice lobster. The Chocolate Hazelnut Panini was perfect to share."
