Gary's Reviews

After developing a loyal, steady following first in Merrick, then in Long Beach, Nick's was forced to close after Hurricane Sandy. We have now brought our food and talents to the lovely village of Mineola. Nick's Tuscan Grill is an intimate setting, with the focus on exceptional food and service. Portions are hearty and the prices are reasonable. We guarantee you will not leave here unsatisfied OR hungry!

"We were so happy to hear that Nick's moved from Long Beach to Mineola. We have been frequenting his Tuscan Grill often. Nick and Carol are great hosts and servers. The wine list, drinks, and all of the food are tasty and cooked perfectly. My Lobster Risotto was chock full of seafood and a nice lobster. The Chocolate Hazelnut Panini was perfect to share."

For sweeping ocean views and Spanish small (and large plates), it doesn’t get any better than Amada, the Atlantic City outpost of Chef Jose
Garces’ famous Philadelphia tapas restaurant. Amada transports you to straight to Spain, where sangria flows from terra cotta pitchersand the smell of sizzling chorizo entices you to order just one more plate for the table.

House Specialties
Spanish Octopus, Garlic Shrimp, Tortilla Española, Lobster Paella, Whole Roasted Suckling Pig (must be ordered 48 hours in advance),
House Made Fresh Fruit Sangrías.

Private Parties: Amada welcomes groups of all sizes. Events can be booked throughout the restaurant and in our private dining rooms seven days a week. For parties of 12 or more, please call our private events team to schedule your reservation at (609) 225-4939 or email Jenna.Moore@garcesgroup.com

"Dining on the ocean seemed like an absolute necessity while staying at The Revel. Awesome hotel, the restaurant has a modern spanish theme. Tapas is the way to go and I had the garlic shrimp and the Piquillo stuffed with crabmeat. Both were very good. The Serrano ham salad was big enough for two. A few drinks and I was casino bound."

Il Corso establishment was founded in 1993 by two native Italian women from the south of Italy.

They chose to name their restaurant "Il Corso" because it means "the path". Their goal is to guide their clients on a path to a wonderful experience.

We pride ourselves on selecting the finest ingredients for our recipes. In addition to our menu, we offer daily specials that your server will present to you.
Il Corso's warm, cozy ambiance is complimented by an exquisite selection of moderately priced wines, full bar and nurtured by a friendly and knowledgeable staff serves.

"The lightly fried Calamari was served fresh and light. The lentils in olive oil and the fresh bread were very good. The drinks were a good size. My seafood Possilico - clams, mussels, fish and calamari in a zesty red sauce was good - calamari was a bit chewy and the clams very tiny, the Branzino was cooked lightly, deboned and was excellent. The Pork Milanese was tasty and not greasy. Coffee finished off the night."
