Chef Jean‑Georges introduces his latest venture, a casually elegant restaurant ensconced in the picturesque town of Pound Ridge, New York. Here, Jean‑Georges cultivates a truly seasonal, farm-to-table cuisine, with ingredients sourced from the Hudson Valley and New England, whenever possible. Constructed in 1833 as a residence and serving later as an inn, the building has been painstakingly renovated to preserve as many of the original materials as possible, including four working fireplaces. Thomas Juul-Hansen designed the restaurant’s interior with a modern yet rustic sensibility; zinc and marble accent stone and reclaimed wood. The restaurant’s lighting, artfully conceived by Hervé Descottes, employs paper shades and Edison fixtures to create warmth throughout.

Visit our website to learn more about The Inn at Pound Ridge by Jean-Georges http://www.theinnatpoundridge.com/

"Overall this restaurant is amazing. This was my second visit. First lunch. The starters were excellent. Bread is fabulous. The steak sandwich was just ok and the chopped salads were overdressed and had way too much cheese even for one of us who asked for light cheese. The blue cheese was very salty and overpowered the simple salad. Dessert was amazing! Will go back for sure"

Located on Bank Street, just a short walk from Church Market Marketplace in Burlington. A Single Pebble is named after John Hersey's Novel - A story of young American engineer sent to China in the 1920s, to inspect the Yangtze River, a journey of his trip on a junk. A Single Pebble is serving classically creative Chinese Cuisine since 1997.

We proudly feature the unique flavors and qualities of each dish. Our culinary influences come from all of the regions of China and it's neighboring areas. From our delicately seasoned lighter fare to hearty " Comfort food" favorites, we use the freshest ingredients available -- many from local farmers.

Please come to join us for a fun family style eating experience, sharing a taste of this and that from our award-winning dishes placed on a revolving, red lacquer Lazy Susan.

Don't miss a chance to try delicious druze meal prepared by Gazala's mother! She will be cooking her spun recepies August,1 to August,18! Get a taste you will never forget! A hidden gem amidst so much on the Upper West Side. Gazala's serves some of the best appetizers around to start off your dining experience. Chef/owner Gazala is Druze Israeli, but the menu will be familiar to anyone who has tried Middle Eastern food. The babaganoush (roast eggplant dip) is smoky and velvety. The inside of the kibbe's crispy crust is moist ground lamb seasoned perfectly with aromatic spices. The felafel (deep-fried ground chickpeas) feature an unusually crunchy crust. The ambiance is more contemporary than our Midtown location offering large areas for private parties and large groups. Don't be surprised to see Gazala come out of her busy kitchen and chat with the diners.

Chef Bill Telepan acclaimed former chef of the 3-star Judson Grill will serve the very best and freshest of seasonal foods impeccably prepared and paired with an interesting, hand- picked and reasonably priced selection of wines. Ruth Reichl described his cooking as “…extremely eloquent; each of [his] unassuming dishes roars with flavor, and the minute you finish one bite you instantly want another. His direct style draws diners into a vibrant interplay of textures, tastes and colors.” Telepan, an exciting new destination located in the heart of the Upper West Side, will welcome fine dining enthusiasts from around the city, as well as the pre- and post-theater Lincoln Center crowd.

Chef Michael Psilakis and partner Donatella Arpaia have moved their rustic Greek gem, Kefi, to a larger space at 505 Columbus Avenue. The new, 200-seat interior evokes the feeling of a palatial Greek hideaway broken up into several smaller dining rooms to keep Kefi’s intimate appeal.

The menu of favorites straight from Psilakis’ childhood will remain the same with some new additions. Signature dishes like Baccala, crispy-fried cod with garlic potatoes and tomato, Grilled Octopus with bean salad, and Hilopita, baked pasta with rabbit ragout and béchamel are still on offer. Additions include Grilled Sardines with chopped “Greek Salad” and garlic sauce, Macaronia Spestofai, tubular pasta with Greek sausage, peppers, onions, tomato and feta and an entirely new section of Greek Sandwiches featuring house-made sausages and pork and lamb gyro.

The Daily Planet — a relaxed eatery, funky bar, and vibrant solarium. We give you the choice: let orb lamps and celestial surroundings illuminate your house-infused cocktail, share dessert under the stars in our indoor solarium, or enjoy the dining room for a more private evening.

Local artists' exhibits adorn the walls, while our eclectic seasonal menu sends you spinning the globe. Come for a visit - we think our colorful alleyway eatery is, well, out of this world!

The East Village's favorite fish shack is now the Upper West Side's favorite as well, with a second location at 568 Amsterdam Avenue, near 88th St. Danny Abrams, who has owned and operated some of the city's favorite restaurants, including The Red Cat and The Harrison, is the principle owner, and Michael Cressotti is their corporate executive chef. Swim on over for Mermaid Inn favorites like the Lobster Sandwich with Old Bay Fries, seared Skate wing, Mermaid fish tacos, or the Happiest of Happy Hours. On Sundays, join The Mermaid for Lobsterpalooza: $26 for a pound & a quarter lobster, red bliss potatoes & grilled corn on the cob. The uptown location also features an expanded raw bar, brunch and the same casual and cozy "shore feel" as the downtown spot.
