In a comfortable setting, just across the street from the historic Uptown Theater in Cleveland Park, Ripple offers a complete dining experience, with a focus on sustainability, organic and locally-acquired produce, and a good time. We are proud to support local farmers and co-ops in our mission to bring only the best products to the table.
Our award winning wine list features 50 wines by the glass and bottles starting at $25, with over 70 wines under $50. In addition, we have extensive beer and cocktail menus, to complete any meal.
Above all, we believe in hospitality and hope that everyone who dines with us will feel comfortable and enjoy their time with us. We truly are a place to eat, drink, and gather.

"Ripple's menu is limited to the daily offerings, and as such only provides a handful of entrees per day. That being said, the preparation is quite inventive and they use seasonally available ingredients. I had only hoped that the serving portions were just a bit larger (I suppose that's one way to keep costs reasonable), because I left wanting more. I would recommend a cheese course as an excellent meal starter. The atmosphere is quite convivial and the servers are very knowledgable. If you are a picky eater, this may not be the place for you. But for everyone else, who enjoys food, you will have a good time."

"4935 has an interesting and inventive Indian-fusion menu, but the main thing missing on this Friday night were customers. The restaurant needs some time for the chef to fully develop the menu and to refine their available dishes. While the the flavors come through, and you can see some signs of creativity in the merging of Western foods with an Indian flavor, but yet there are too many inconsistencies. If they can develop a customer base by growing an inventive menu and giving diners a reason to show up, then I think 4935 can survive a very competitive environment. Otherwise….well, you know."

Sur La Place is a cozy, fine dining gem nestled in the renowned Palisades area of Washington D.C. A Product of its' sister restaurant, Mannequin Pis, located in Olney, Maryland, Sur La Places specializes in exquisite Belgian cuisine. With over 20 varieties of Mussels and over 30 varieties of fine Belgian beer, one comes to realize that Sur La Place is not your ordinary restaurant. The menu takes a trip through Belgium, from Grilled Duck Pate or Wild Boar and Cranberry Sausage to a Seafood Bouillabaisse with Gambass, Mussels, Salmon, Sea Scallops, and Lobster. Fantastic desserts and a fully stocked bar put the cap on a great experience. With its exposed brick, deep wood hues, and dark red drapery, Sur La Place is an excellent choice for a romantic date, a business meeting, or simply a fine night out in the city. It's knowledgeable and service oriented staff are always eager to serve you and we look forward to having you as our guest.

"The atmosphere was probably spoiled by the most indifferent waitress I had ever encountered. Although the food was decent (not great, but good enough), it would have been nice if our waitress seemed to care. There was no checking to see if we wished to order a second round of drinks, nor was there any follow up once the meal was served. Honey, if you don't want to be there, get another job!"

Yuzu Bethesda is authentic Japanese restaurant dedicated to serving fresh, seasonal traditional Japanese fare. For the past 28 years, Chef Yoshihisa Ota has practiced the art of sushi making in the United States and Japan. Yuzu brings high end small plates and tasting dishes that are hard to find elsewhere into a relaxed family friendly environment.

Thursday, Friday and Saturday also open space at the Chef's Table for "Omakase" course dinner. Cooked for by the executive chef himself, the diner is taken on a culinary exploration of sushi and Japanese cuisine. Due to the limited seating and extensive prep work for Omakase, reservations are required.
"Having read reviews on Open Table and in the general press, I had expected better. The restaurant decor is quite spare and very cold, and the overall feeling was that even though it recently opened, the place needs a make over. The food is mediocre at best. Their sushi and rolls lack the quality that you would find at nearby Raku. The vegetable tempura was pretty much a tasteless mass. There is not too much at Yuzu that I would find redeeming. This is a one and done experience. If you want to dine here, go quickly. I don't think it will be around too much longer."
