"I work in the depths of Southwest, so most of my outside lunches are in the 14th/15th Street, Metro Center area. The Hamilton is always on my list of lunch choices. The food is solid and is a good value. My biggest gripe about this restaurant is the wait to check in for a table, even when you have a reservation, is sometimes ridiculously long. But it is a big restaurant, so it's somewhat understandable, if frustrating. But the food, value and convenience (and it is a really pretty space) will keep me coming back."

From the talents behind Proof, Estadio recently debuted on trendy 14th St NW, above Logan Circle. According to blog.zagat.com 'offering contemporary takes on regional classics in pintxos, tapas and entree-sized portions, along with sandwiches on housemade bread, all washed down by Iberian wines (many under $10 a glass) and frozen alcoholic slushies; the über-stylish setting incorporates decorative wrought iron, reclaimed timber, colorful tiles and themed murals, with seating at a large concrete bar, a marble counter facing the open kitchen and window-side tables perfect for scoping the vibrant street scene.'

"I really liked just about everything about Estadio. There was great choice in food, the food and drink were excellent, and the setting was very cool. Even though we were 30 min late for our reservation, they saved our table. The staff was friendly, but the service was a little off (nothing new for DC). I would definitely go back again and have already recommended it to others. This is a restaurant that wouldn't have existed in DC 15 years ago, and says a lot about how far this city has come as a dining destination."

Reservations are for the upstairs Izakaya only and not for the Ramen shop. <br />The Izakaya is a full service restaurant featuring small plates of Japanese tavern fare, as well as a full bar with cocktails, wine, beer, and a large selection of sake and Japanese spirits.

"The setting at Daikaya Izakaya is really nice - warm, welcoming. The food was good, not terrific, with surprisingly few spicy choices. It was well priced - had lunch for under $20. I'm not sure I would go out of my way to go there again, but it's certainly a good option for the neighborhood."

"The $19 pre-fixe lunch is one of the best in town for quality and value. The service is attentive and the atmosphere pleasant. A good place for a business or leisure lunch."
