"I've been here for lunch before a few years back but did not realize it. The space is quite large and the over sized decorations really make you feel like you're part of something grand. The noise level was quite energetic as there seemed to be an office lunch outing there as well. We were seated within the oh so comfy booth area. Our waiter, knowing our 1 hour time constraint, timed everything perfectly. The food was great. What stuck out to me most was the rose water panna cotta. The plating was very unique and the rosewater taste was not overpowering. I would definitely like to come back here for more delicious food and great lively lunches!"

Located in The Strand Hotel in the Fashion District, The Strand Bistro serves new American cuisine, with contemporary influences. Chef Jason Krantz has created a menu that reflects the influences of his past, with an intuitive nod towards current, and evolving trends. As trends in the fashion industry are forever changing, there will always be those classic styles that remain timeless. Cuisine is very much the same way and Chef Jason demonstrate's this with his new menu.

With a cozy and inviting lounge, a fireplace, and an enchanting fish tank (yes that's right a big fish tank!) the interior is quirky yet comfortable. There is a place to lounge, place to wine and place to dine, and after dinner you can have a cocktail at our relaxing roof top lounge at The Top of the Strand with stunning views of The Empire State Building.

"Seeing as this was a restaurant within the Strand hotel the crowd was quite diverse. There were a lot of businessmen in suits but also casual tourists and families. although the front of the restaurant seemed more of a business hang out in front of the bar dining area seemed more intimate yet still casual with the banquet seating, warm lighting, bookcases, and fireplace. The food was great, no complaints there. Not plain Jane but also not too frilly. I enjoyed my dining experience though I wish there were more people on a Friday night."
