"I have eaten here many times, and continue to return. On this last visit, the management had changed since our previous visit, or so I heard. The food was excellent as always, and creatively presented. The old practice of offering a 3-course pre-theater prix-fixe menu had been reinstated, to my pleasure, after a few years without it. The servers were coutreous and conscientious, although they lacked the self-confidence that I had come to expect. The only mishap was that the after-dinner coffee was delivered lukewarm. This was corrected cheerfully."

Enjoy a fantastic culinary experience and unequalled skyline views through two-story windows high above the Potomac River. The contemporary interior features chrome, glass, suede, and wood with accents of granite. Check out the critically-acclaimed Sunday Kitchen Buffet Brunch. The Roof Terrace Restaurant & Bar is located on the Roof Terrace level of the Kennedy Center above the Hall of Nations.

"This was an excellent dining experience.
The Roof Terrace is located atop the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and is therefore a natural choice for an opulent meal before a concert or opera. Prices are high, but not surprising given the location and claims to product quality. The menu offerings are limited but adequate, the service is efficient and courteous (essential, given curtain times are at stake.) The ambience is constrained a bit by the large size of the dining area, although recent renovations have improved this aspect. Most notably, I found the quality of the food to be excellent--delicious and creatively presented. Portions are not large, so a large appetite might not be satisfied with a main entree alone--OK by me."
