We're celebrating our 22th Year in Sunny Dundee by doing what we do best. cooking memorable meals for our friends and neighbors. Welcome to sunny Dundee!<br /><br />We opened Tina's in October 1991, after cooking in Portland for over 10 years. We have a small bar, two intimate dining rooms separated by a fireplace; we seat 50 guests. <br />Our search for locally grown, organic foods led us out of the city and into the countryside where we work closely with a great group of farmers, ranchers and fisherman. We're closer to the source of what goes onto your plate, and we believe that the opportunity to cook in a wine growing region lends our food a context, flavor and experience that is unbeatable. <br /><br />We are committed to using the best ingredients, and our menu is based on the foods that our farmer/neighbors grow. The wines that we feature are from just up the hill; our staff has a deep knowledge of this place. Our menu changes as we move through the seasons of the year.

"We attended the 11 Aug Burgundy wine dinner. All of the food was perfectly prepared, especially the salmon tartare and the lamb. The wines were probably the best we have had at anyone's wine dinner, but were in extremely short supply. If more wine were available, we would have preferred that the cost of the meal be higher so that we could have enjoyed a more appropriate quantity of the lovely wines, rather than just tiny sips."

Splendido at the Chateau offers fine Rocky Mountain dining featuring imaginative and refined American-European cuisine in the warmth and tranquility of a French chateau. Dinner is served six nights a week in our beautiful dining room and in our sunroom with a roaring fire. Splendido offers entertainment by Peter Vavra and Kathy Morrow in the piano bar.<br />We also offer dining for groups or weddings.

"The foie gras was better than any we've had in France, or anywhere. The whole Dover Sole was divine. The service was excellent. The comprehensive wine list was reasonably priced for an upscale restaurant. This was our first visit, but it won't be our last."
