In 1983, Café Luxembourg opened its doors to become the quintessential neighborhood bistro of the Upper West Side. The dining room of this charming 90 seat restaurant glows in the warm light of the Jean Perzel fixtures and antique mirrors.

Located on 70th Street just west of Broadway, Café Luxembourg entertains New Yorkers and celebrities alike. The full service bar is home to many regulars. The lively buzz of the dining room is inviting and intimate. The frequency of dining customers is testament to the sincere efforts by the entire Café Luxembourg staff.

The menu changes seasonally as well as offering daily specials. The classic menu dishes maintain a level of cooking on par with the city’s best restaurants. Café Luxembourg offers beautifully prepared food with professional, yet unpretentious service at reasonable prices.
"Jam-packed at noon on a Sunday, but what else is new? Reservations a must. A bit pricey for what one receives; however, the quality is very good. Our servers were super-friendly and efficient. I would not go out of my way to go there for brunch, but it is the real deal.....no free mimosas, but the ones served were very good(not much OJ!) Lots of special cocktails (which we three did not have.)"
