As soon as you walk through the doors of The Grill on the Alley in Chicago, you are transported to another time and place reminiscent of the great American grills of yesteryear. The unique decor has an elegant feel with its polished hard wood floors, leather banquettes, and white linen tablecloths. A virtual art gallery adorns the walls of our many dining rooms while the sounds of Ella Fitzgerald linger in the background as white-jacketed waiters attend to your every need.

Since opening in June 2000, this high-end steak and seafood house has made its mark on Chicago with locals, and tourists alike. The Grill has become one of the most popular places to gather for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and all types of special occasions. Located on the floor level of the Westin Hotel, The Grill on the Alley is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Chicago with easy access to the McCormick Place Convention Center, shops, museums and theaters.

From the team behind Blackbird and avec comes this homage to beer, pork, and fish. Executive Chef Paul Kahan and Chef de Cuisine Cosmo Goss have developed a network of proveyors to supply the restaurant with hand-selected, sustainably-harvested fish and seafood as well as sustainably-raised heirloom pork to anchor a rustic menu of simple, eclectic fare. The extensive international beer list, developed by partners Eduard Seitan and Terry Alexander, features 100 or so ales, lagers, stouts and ciders by the bottle, 12 of those available on tap. Like Blackbird and avec, The Publican is a design partnership from the James Beard Award-winning team of Thomas Schlesser and partner Donnie Madia.

Jacks on Halsted will be undergoing a name change...so watch out for Drew's Drawing Room coming soon!!! Our apologies for any confusion- we assure you'll have the same quality dinning experience at the same location, just slightly different name!

Drew's Drawing Room is Contemporary American late night fine dinning, playfully mixed with a classical Martini Bar lounge setting. Emphasis on global cuisine incorporating Asian, Mediterranean and New World flavors- making for a "true Contemporary American" dinning experience. For the past 15 years we continue being passionate about two things: serving healthful, excellent food and being sensible about our prices.

Drew's Drawing Room is the place to start or end your night out- be sure to ask for a table at the window or visit the Martini Bar and Outdoor Patio!

This beautifully redesigned island seafood restaurant features locally caught fish fresh from the auction using high heat aromatic herb roasting or prepared with authentic local tropical flavors. A carefully chosen wine list accents the delicate seafood flavors. Open only in the evenings the venue spills out towards the Pacific with views of the water from nearly every vantage point.

"Local first, organic whenever possible, and with Aloha always" is the mantra upon which this unpretentious neighborhood bistro was founded. With a menu that changes daily to reflect the freshest market ingredients, Town features hand-cut pastas and gnocchi, slow-braised meats, fresh local seafood, a wine list of small artisan producers, and hand-crafted cocktails. Drawing inspiration from classic recipes of the Mediterranean, Town's cuisine is best described as Contemporary American with an Italian sensibility, where the ingredients are allowed to shine and nothing is wasted. With bar and "dog-friendly" patio seating reserved for walk-in guests, the restaurant has become a favorite for casual impromptu dining as well as for special occasions. Town is located in hip Kaimuki, just minutes from Waikiki, and is loved by locals and visitors alike. Go to Town.

"i brought my two sons here for dinner before the movies. Excellent. They both had the steak frites. I had the charcuterie board and mussels. Our food was delivered quickly and was great. The manager came over to see how we were doing. The only complaint is the pour on the martinis. They need to fill it up. I sent my Finch back and they modified. If you're going to have martinis at your restaurant then make sure the glass is all the way full, not half full. The Old Fashion was very good."

"I love the pump room but recently they have gone a little soft. The endive salad was a bit sloppy looking. The chicken was good but nothing to write home about. Where were the mashed potatoes as listed on the menu? The bar is beautiful but the Martinis were served half full. C'mon. $15? At least fill it up."
