Core de Roma Trattoria is a casual, intimate, family owned Trattoria, offering authentic Roman cuisine while upholding the best of Roman tradition. Some examples of our mouth watering Roman delicacies include our signature Artichokes alla Core de Roma, Saltimbocca, and Bucatini alla Matriciana. Contrary to what some people say, we spelled our name as "Core de Roma" intentionally, meaning "The Heart of Rome" in our family's dialect. Our ultimate goal is to make all of our customers feel like family through our cozy atmosphere, friendly service, and home-made dishes. At Core de Roma you can expect the true heart of Rome in the heart of Philly.

"Very good Italian food with attentive service in a casual atmosphere. Portions are large with enough left over for lunch the next day. A nice addition to the West Chester scene."

The philosophy at SALT is simple; a belief that the best food travels the shortest distance from farm to table, that menus should change with the seasons and that the locally sourced ingredients, combined with European technique and innovative thinking make for a truly remarkable experience. Chef Bradford Heap and his staff have made a commitment to source local, organic and fresh ingredients whenever possible. The menu reflects this mind-set, simple, yet elegant and delicious. The wines, while sourced all over the world offer our guests some classic profiles, while introducing them to some new and exciting choices as well as a pre-prohibition cocktails with a twist. Approachable, but sophisticated. Enjoy!

"This was our first time at Salt and we enjoyed ourselves very much. We were visiting in Boulder and when we are in the area again, we will return to Salt. Nice meal in a quaint older building with fine service."

Catherine"s Restaurant is a charming BYOB nestled in the heart of Chester County's horse country. An upscale casual destination restaurant, located in the historic (c. 1851) Unionville General Store, Catherine's is 'dining at it's BEST.' (Philadelphia Inquirer) Chef Kevin McMunn's "Wild Mushroom & Lump Crab Soup is EXQUISITE." - Craig Laban. Catherine's is one of the Delaware Valley's top BYOB's and has earned many accolades over the past decade. They are rated EXCELLENT by Zagat. Chef Kevin McMunn and his partner & wife Marybeth Brown are an exceptional team that pay homage to Brown's grandmother, Catherine, with their warm and welcoming hospitality and unbelievably delicious food! The gorgeous dining room is lit entirely by candles - over 125 - which adds to the special touch of mini flashlights which come with every menu. Catherine's has recently added Lunch and weekend Brunch to their dining hours. The Blueberry Lemon Ricotta Pancakes are the perfect way to end the weekend!

"One of our real favorites in Chester County and the Philadelphia suburbs. The menu doesn't change a lot, but it doesn't have to, because we have not found anything that we haven't loved. The mushroom bisque with crab rivals any other soup anywhere. Service is always friendly. Our only quibble is the exit out of the lot which really needs some attention before someone blows a tire or damages an axle."

"The new Avalon location is hitting on all cylinders. Great food, nice atmosphere and the always terrific service. Still miss the wonderful patio on High Street, but you can't have everything, I suppose. Ultimately, in the restaurant business, the food and service dictate and Avalon continues to deliver!"

"We love 1682 for pre-orchestra dining. The food is always creative and well-prepared, the service is friendly and the place has a pleasant, upbeat vibe. This time, the cauliflower soup with bits of bacon was excellent as were my wife's scallops and my beef cheeks for our entrees. The beef cheeks were so good that they almost melted in my mouth. Excellent."

"A terrific dinner for three in a pleasant, relaxed atmospher. Byrsa's Mediterranean dishes are varied, including vegetarian, with offerings whose roots are in southern France, Spain, Northern Africa, etc. We've pretty much eaten our way through the menu and enjoyed everything. This time, the paella was particularly noteworthy as was the branzino special. I also love the Turkish coffee after the meal. Great spot."

"Had dinner outside on a nice Saturday evening and, even though the restaurant was busy, the service was great as was the food. Catherine's mushroom and crab soup is always a treat and our short ribs agnolotti and scallop entrees were beautifully prepared and delicious. We split a tasty peach cobbler for dessert. Great meal!"

"This time, Mile High was a bit off in the preparation of their steaks, not enough to send them back, but not quite right either. My wife's filet was medium instead of medium well and my rib eye was not as juicy as usual, although the flavor was good. Chalk it up to a very busy Friday evening, because we eat here often and are always happy. The lobster, served as part of the surf and turf deal, was excellent. Ceil's service, as always, was great."

"We were visiting our son in Boulder and the three of us dined here for the first time. We found the food to be creative and reasonably-priced and served in a pleasant atmosphere. I had the bacon-wrapped dates and delicious blackened red trout with andouille sausage. Others had the ahi tuna and salmon and loved them. Service was friendly and very attentive. This place is a keeper!"

"This spot has seen several restaurants come and go over many years. After our third time here, I'd say Junto looks like a keeper. Four of us dined & everyone thought the food was excellent. Ravioli appetizer is a winner and the corn bread with apple butter is a great way to start. Black bass & sturgeon main courses were wonderful."
