"After our 10th. meal or so at Byrsa, we've decided that it is a true "keeper." Their food and service is great, menu choices are terrific and location makes for easy parking. Nice combination, indeed. This place is a true gem."

"We eat often at Mile High, but had a so-so experience last Friday. My wife's filet was done as she likes it, but my NY strip was overcooked, coming out medium well instead of medium rare. That's a big miss, but fortunately it was a good piece of meat, so it tasted OK. Everything else was fine, including the "devils on horseback" date appetizer and our drinks. Hopefully, this is a one-time thing."

"This was our second visit to Majolica in Phoenixville, quite a ride for us, but worth it for good food. The setting is very casual and relaxed. The food was excellent from the amuse bouche of a small, tasty and not-at-all-salty anchovy right on through the entrees. Our appetizers were a beautifully-presented roasted beet with blackberry salad and wonderful grilled octopus. Our entrees were moulard duck and salmon, both tasty and nicely-presented. We skipped dessert. Our only quibble was the extensive time between courses. From start to finish was two hours, without dessert on a Thursday evening. The two servers were friendly and helpful, but a third person was needed."

"Had another fine "rustic Italian" meal at Avalon, albeit on a noisy Saturday evening. We enjoyed sharing olives for the table and the tasty mussels in red sauce. My Chicken Calabrese was tangy and delicious and my wife's ravioli were wonderful. I also enjoyed an excellent Margarita. Great service from our main waiter, Josh, and his cohorts."

"Still one of the best for pre-theater or pre-orchestra dining based on location, food, reasonable prices and the server's attention to performance schedules. This time, I had a nice Caesar salad made with young kale, a twist on the usual preparation with romaine. Our salmon and lobster ravioli entrees were tasty. Varalli is aways very good."

"Dinner on Monday evening was our first visit to Amani's and we will be back. The menu is extensive and was supplemented by several specials, giving us many choices. My wife's grouper was beautifully prepared and she finished it, a bit unusual for a light eater. I had the butternut squash bisque to start, a velvety smooth, flavorful concoction indeed. My entree was the chicken breast special stuffed with prosciutto in a wonderful sauce. It was quite tasty, but lacked enough of the delicious ham I was expecting. Dessert was a good, not-too-sweet bread pudding that we split. The amuse bouche to start and the complimentary Limoncello to finish were nice touches. Rick's service was excellent."

Catherine"s Restaurant is a charming BYOB nestled in the heart of Chester County's horse country. An upscale casual destination restaurant, located in the historic (c. 1851) Unionville General Store, Catherine's is 'dining at it's BEST.' (Philadelphia Inquirer) Chef Kevin McMunn's "Wild Mushroom & Lump Crab Soup is EXQUISITE." - Craig Laban. Catherine's is one of the Delaware Valley's top BYOB's and has earned many accolades over the past decade. They are rated EXCELLENT by Zagat. Chef Kevin McMunn and his partner & wife Marybeth Brown are an exceptional team that pay homage to Brown's grandmother, Catherine, with their warm and welcoming hospitality and unbelievably delicious food! The gorgeous dining room is lit entirely by candles - over 125 - which adds to the special touch of mini flashlights which come with every menu. Catherine's has recently added Lunch and weekend Brunch to their dining hours. The Blueberry Lemon Ricotta Pancakes are the perfect way to end the weekend!

"My wife and I enjoyed Capitol Grille very much, as we have in other locations around the country. My wedge salad was good and my steak was nicely prepared between medium rare and medium, as I like it. Her scallops were delicious. Just recognize that you pay top dollar here, equivalent to anything in Philly, and everything is a la carte. Our side of golden beets with goat cheese was very tasty and should be at $13. Service and ambience are what you would expect from an upscale steak house."

"Limoncello offers consistently very good Italian food and plenty of it; we always have enough for lunch the next day or perhaps even dinner. We ate outside on a pleasant evening, away from the noise that is usually present inside, and enjoyed it very much. We started with complimentary bruschetta and finished with complimentary Limoncello liqueur. In between, the mussels were very good as were the halibut and lobster risotto entrees. Lisa's service was great."
