DGS Delicatessen features both traditional & modern Jewish cooking in Dupont Circle.
Chef Brian Robinson takes inspiration from the classic delicatessen, while pushing the cuisine in a new and exciting direction. DGS offers 8 day house cured pastrami & corned beef, reubens, handmade pierogis & matzo ball soup, house cured cold smoked salmon.
DGS believes that delicatessen, German for good eats, comes from the soul of the old World Jewish kitchen. In that spirit, DGS brines, cures, smokes and pickles everything served on premises.
Beverage Director Brian Zipin crafted a beer, wine and cocktail menu amplifying the bold flavors of the delicatessen.

**Please note: Saturday & Sunday Brunch tables are Walk In only**

St. Arnold’s on Jefferson is a popular Dupont Circle mussel restaurant. A must is the mussels cooked in duck fat.

"We had a reservation. When we got there in time for our reservation, our table wasn't ready so we waited at the bar. The hostess said they can't seat us until entire party is there. We said ok since our table wasn't ready. The table became ready 15 minute after our reservation time and the hostess said we lost our table because our entire party wasn't there. Our party arrive at a minute after the table became open and the hostess gave our table to another party so we had to wait with for another table to open."

Chef Martin Lackovic, formerly of Galileo, I Matti and The Caucus Room, opens Siroc Restaurant on McPherson Square with brothers Keram and Mehdi Dris, who run the front of the house. Siroc's seasonal menu features cooking inspired by Italy and the Mediterranean with housemade pastas, charcuterie, salads and entrées. The new restaurant takes its name from a wind that blows from northern Africa to Italy and the Mediterranean.

Located in the Del Ray neighborhood of Alexandria, between Old Town and Crystal City, the Evening Star Cafe is known for exceptional food, friendly but professional service and an inviting 'retro chic and funky' atmosphere. Both a classic neighborhood restaurant and a destination for diners throughout the Washington Metropolitan area, the Evening Star features sophisticated and eclectic American food, one of the region's most appealing and best-priced wine lists, and two separate lounges.
