The signature dish at Legal Sea Foods – really fresh fish.
For all those who love seafood in Paramus, the world really can be your oyster. Come for the seafood and stay to shop. We are conveniently located within the Garden State Plaza.

Legal Sea Foods has long proven that a consistent, high quality dining experience never goes out of style. With over 40 varieties of fresh fish and shellfish available throughout the year as well as an award-winning wine list, there’s no doubt why legions of fans have fallen hook, line and sinker.

We’ve received a boatload of accolades including being named “#1 Best Seafood Restaurant” in a nationwide poll by USA Today (2013) and the honor of serving our legendary New England Clam Chowder at every presidential inauguration since 1981.

"It's a step up from typical mall-adjacent restaurants, but Legal Sea Foods is a bit overpriced, a bolt overcrowded and a bit noisy. Wait staff was friendly, by clearly overworked as there were considerable lapses between our arrival, ordering drinks, ordering meals and receiving meals."

"Been to McCloones several times. Great place for brunch. This particular Saturday night was not memorable. Seated right outside the swinging kitchen doors, the entire restaurant was "scream across the table" loud. The food is always reliable, albeit way too pricey for West Orange NJ. The staff was obviously tired and forced their friendliness.
Overall, not a great experience."

Located at the Mercer Hotel, Mercer Kitchen brings a chic, sophisticated vibe to the heart of SoHo. When Mercer Kitchen opened in 1998, it immediately became a destination for New Yorkers, celebrities, and tourists. Situated in the basement of a historic building constructed in the 1800s, the… restaurant was designed by Christian Liaigre as a combination of industrial and classic modernism. Chef Jean-Georges’ American menu features market-driven, seasonal ingredients prepared in a simple yet elegant style, with favorites like the Tuna Spring Roll, Steamed Shrimp Salad, wood-fired pizzas, and classic Warm Valrhona Chocolate Cake. There is an open kitchen, where guests can sit back and watch the show.

"Enjoyed every part of Mercer. Lots of energy on Saturday night from the guests and the staff. The Sea bass and the Salmon were perfectly cooked and presented. Everyone near us was making the yummy sounds. We must return to sample more of the delicious fare."

"The service and attention was top notch. The food was spectacular. Don't miss the seared foie gras dumplings or the mackerel. This is a fine dining experience beyond most in NYC."

"We tend to gravitate back to the pig and the prince. There are still too many dishes to taste. On our most recent visit, the Atlantic Cod and the Chicken entree were outstanding. Dessert was fabulous as usual. A little pricey for Montclair NJ, but worth it."

Conveniently located across from Lincoln Center and a startling revelation in shiny black lacquer, Shun Lee exudes Asian chic with grand authority.
For haute Chinese cuisine, it’s among New York City’s best. Regional offerings include crispy Grand Marnier prawns with honey walnuts (Canton), braised sea bass in hot bean sauce (Hunan) and shredded beef with leeks and hot peppers (Szechwan). Specialties include beggar’s chicken baked in lotus leaves and clay (requires one day’s notice), Hunan tripe, sweetbreads with black mushrooms and of course, Beijing Duck.

"The Dim Sum cart was excellent and the staff was exceptionally friendly, but good Chinese food is plentiful at more affordable prices. The ambiance was OK, but Shun Lee would do well to spice up the place a bit."

"O'Lunney's is our new favorite Irish pub in midtown. Convenient to Broadway for dinner or a beer before the show, the staff was friendly, the place was filled with other happy patrons and the food was great. I'm not sure I would order pasta there, but the bangers and mash was great and everything in the menu was appetizing."

"Had a really delicious meal and the place is obviously a favorite of many. Enjoyed the Oysters to start and duck ravioli. My buddy had the rabbit stew. Delicious, but way too hot. We would have tried the combination cold seafood platter, but the $125 price tag gave us pause. Maybe next time."

Serving hand-crafted cuisine for over ten years, The Red Onion is one of the Hudson Valley's most highly rated dining destinations. Located in a restored mid-19th century farmhouse just outside the historic Village of Woodstock, The Red Onion is a warm, welcoming bistro-style restaurant. In addition to the award winning food, chef/owner Kevin Katz has personally selected every wine on the list of over one hundred labels of estate grown and bottled wines. The Red Onion boasts ten wines by-the-glass and a selection of hand-made cocktails all served in elegant stemware.
