Welcome to Vincenzo Ristorante Chef Vincenzo Nicoletta has done it again! He has been quietly turning out some of the most refined Italian dishes on the Westside for twenty years, combining his native Italian sensibilities with a good deal of contemporary flair. His former restaurant on Montana, Casa Monica, was a standard for fine Italian cuisine for years. Now, step inside the new Montana restaurant and serenity reigns in the spare yet stylish interior. It is remarkably comfortable. The emphasis is on the food. The cuisine"s strength lies in the use of local ingredients with minimal fuss, stressing the seasonal flavors. The menu features salads and pasta, as well as pesce del giorno; specialties are offered daily. The bread is freshly baked daily on the premises. Wine lovers will feel right at home with the featured wine list of Italian and California varietals. Indulgent homemade desserts and espresso drinks are offered as the perfect ending to a special meal.

"Make sure to make reservations because it is quite small. The menu has a great variety. I had the veal milanese with a side of pasta that was outstanding. It was probably the best tasting, freshest pasta I have had in years. My son had the meatball special and they were fantastic. Great meal and friendly service."

"I admit I was drawn here out of curiosity from the TV Show. The reviews were good and the menu had a great selection. It was much smaller and cramped than I imagined but the decor was charming. It was busy for a Monday night, so much that I wasn't able to change my reservation from 2ppl to 3. The service was good. I thought the prices were reasonable as most entrees included 2 sides and the options were good. I had the Brussels sprouts and yams and both were excellent - perfectly cooked and fresh. I had the chicken picatta. The sauce was good but the chicken was rubbery. I was expecting something tender and perfectly cooked like the vegetables. My friend had the sea bass and said it was excellent. The chocolate cake was very good."

Nellcôte is an impertinent take on fine dining. Chef Jared Van Camp has crafted an “obsessively house made” and locally focused bill of fare - while taking influence from France, Italy and Spain, the ingredients and products are sourced exclusively from the Midwest. The vibe is Rock'n'roll bohemian chic. With a defiant return to glamour...Nellcôte is a sexy and high-energy nightspot with absolutely no pretense. <br />

"Nellcote never disappoints. The atmosphere is lovely. The menu is always changing. The small plates allow for trying a number of inventive dishes that are so tasty. I like that the produce is always so fresh. The drink menu also changes frequently and the drinks are unusual and great. Every time I try the pasta, one is better than the next. The pizza is good but I would try some of the unusual plates, especially the vegetables. Tim was our waiter and he was fantastic! He was attentive, friendly and even got me the recipe for the carrots that were unbelievably good. That night the chef sent me an email with the specifics which I though was super cool of him to do. There are so many great places in the city but this is one of the best!"

Club Lucky features the hearty pastas, fresh seafood and classic dishes of Southern Italy, and Sicily; not to mention Chicago classics such as Chicken Vesuvio. House specialties range from daily hand-made stuffed pastas to perfectly grilled steaks & chops. A mainstay in the Bucktown/Wicker Park area for over 23 years, upon entering you find brick walls, formica tables, and oversized Naugahyde booths that provide a genuine design element to complement “grandmother's recipes” on the Italian menu. All sauces & pastas are made on-site, and each recipe is made with what the Owners call “a little bit of love.” Some of the most sought-after dishes are the Lamb Chops, Antipasti Platters and Spinach Lasagna. Desserts are all housemade as well, with the profiteroles being the most popular. Minutes from downtown hotels, theaters, and the United Center. Hotel Concierge and/or their guests enjoy VIP reservations. Our atmosphere is casual, the portions are generous and the prices are reasonable.

"This neighborhood place was so delightfully festive when we walked in on Saturday night. It was a really cute place. We had a very attentive and pleasant server. The menu had an excellent selection of traditional Italian fare. The food was good. There was a minor glitch with my order but they fixed it quickly. I would recommend this place for a fun city venue with great Italian choices."
