AuroraDiner's Reviews

Great appetizers such as black pepper shrimp, pastas, steaks, chops and seafood cover just about everyone's dining wants and desires. Along with our main floor seating we offer two distinctive rooms seating up to 50 guests that can accommodate just about any event from wedding rehearsal dinners to graduations. Our French doors spill out onto our beautiful ivy covered patio, perfect for listening to live music in the evenings or meeting up with friends for a quiet lunch. Ivy can just about compliment any event.

"Ivy is an old church, so the building design is very nice. They even kept some of the stained glass, which adds a nice touch to the ambiance.
The restaurant has been around for a while. The food is always good, but the prices are also high. My only knock on Ivy is that at this price point, I am expecting a special dining experience, and Ivy doesn't measure up to some of the other high-end restaurants at the upper end of the restaurant scale.
Make no mistake, you will have a good meal at Ivy, but in my opinion they are priced $5-$10/plate too high. For example, the Halibut Special was $35, but would have been more fairly priced between $25-$27."

"Not sure why they are so popular (you need reservations 2-3 weeks in advance for prime dinner hour on weekends). Coopers Hawk is a fun environment and the food and wine is consistently good, but not great. I would not consider it equivalent to better restaurants like Capital Grille."
