Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant combines modern, casual dining with award-winning, handcrafted wines. Our menu features fresh contemporary-American fare infused with flavors from around the world. From appetizers to desserts, each dish on our menu is listed with a bin number to help guide you to your selection’s perfect wine match. In addition to dining, Cooper’s Hawk offers a full-service bar, private party spaces, and Napa-style tasting room with specialty gift store, where guests can enjoy sipping and sampling wines in a traditional winery setting. Sourcing the highest quality grapes from the best vineyards around the world has earned Cooper’s Hawk a growing list of more than 200 wine awards. Most recently, Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants was selected as “Hot Concept 2010” winner by Nation's Restaurant News and MenuMasters winner for the category of “Menu Trendsetter” in 2013.

"Not sure why they are so popular (you need reservations 2-3 weeks in advance for prime dinner hour on weekends). Coopers Hawk is a fun environment and the food and wine is consistently good, but not great. I would not consider it equivalent to better restaurants like Capital Grille."

A wonderful little gem in downtown Wheaton just 2 blocks from the Metra. Serving delicious, homemade dishes using preservative free ingredients and hormone/anti-biotic free beef, pork, bison, chicken and eggs. Fresh fish featured weekly, live music every Monday night, a great wine list and quaint sidewalk dining with alcohol service. We buy from businesses within our community, or from small businesses who are an integral part of their communities and try to have a positive impact on their environment. Opened in 2007, this husband & wife owned restaurant was nominated for Restaurant of the Year in 2010. You will be impressed with the ambiance of the small dining room, the personal, attentive service by the wait staff and the delicious menu options.

"We've been to the Cellar Bistro before and always had a good meal. This time was no different. The food is consistently good quality and the restaurant is a nice quaint location. However, because it is a small place, you do tend to be sitting almost on top of your neighbor and it's hard to have a conversation without overhearing others and others overhearing you. They also have an underwhelming wine list. I am by no means a wine snob, but I always have a hard time finding something good for the price point there. It seems like their wines are lower quality for the standard $10-12 price point they sell them at."

Eddie Merlot's Prime-aged Beef and Seafood starts with U.S.D.A. Prime Beef and the freshest seafood. Eddie Merlot"s has created one of the hottest concepts today; the wine bar provides more than 75 wines by the glass and a very extensive reserve wine collection by the bottle. The bar is stocked with all of the finest spirits and after dinner cordials and Cognacs. Eddie Merlot's boasts a contemporary but stunningly elegant interior design and atmosphere—where guests can have fun, relax and enjoy listening to up-tempo music, while dressed in business or casual attire.

"I've eaten here 3 times and every time I've been here, there has been a small issue, which made the dinner much longer than anticipated. This time, I ordered a Bison Ribeye and the kitchen cooked a regular Ribeye, which was caught just before it was served. Therefore, I had to wait for them to re-cook me a Bison Ribeye. They did buy us dessert, but the delay ended up making the total dining experience almost 3 hours long. Questionable service or small errors seem to be common for this restaurant (at least in my experience)."
