25 Lusk is a sophisticated, approachable fine dining restaurant specializing in seasonal contemporary American cuisine. All of the original exposed brick and massive timbers are still in place, creating a warm and inviting ambiance while maintaining the building's classic, industrial aesthetic.
The 9,800-square-foot space includes 120 seats in the main dining area, a spacious lower bar and lounge level, 30-35 seats in the private dining area, semi private dining for parties up to 14 people and a community dining table.
Perhaps the most unique element of the 25 Lusk transformations is the open space which allows soaring steel fire orb flues to pass from the main dining level to the lounge below. This design unifies the two-level space while still allowing each level to exist as a distinct venue. 25 Lusk's one-of-a-kind basement level bar and lounge offers a stylish and contemporary setting with an expansive selection of classic and modern cocktails.

******While we are open, the restaurant will be under enhancements in stages from July 28 through August 4, 2014*****We invite you to take part in a time honored San Francisco tradition and lunch at the Rotunda at Neiman Marcus. This spectacular restaurant sits underneath a stunning glass dome constructed of more than 2500 pieces of colored glass. The room curves around a central atrium four stories above the entrance. Be sure to request a cozy private booth or a window seat overlooking historic Union Square. Indulge in a glass of bubbles while noshing on our signature Lobster Club or savor delicate sweets and tea sandwiches with our Afternoon Tea.

"My visiting friend and I had a lovely afternoon tea -- good tea with little sandwiches, scones, and sweets -- at the Rotunda on a sunny afternoon, overlooking Union Square. Everything was delicious, and our server was very helpful and professional. This is one of the few places in San Francisco that still serves afternoon tea, and especially that serves it during the week (a few hotels serve it only on the weekend), so I appreciate that very much."

Sociale (say - "SO-SHEE-AH-LAY!") was born in the bistros of Florence and raised here in Presidio heights. Laughter and Italian music are heard floating up from the star-lit, heated patio greeting you from the discreet garden alley below. Families and friends leaving the frenetic pace of the city behind can experience a lighter and decidedly more Italian mood celebrating in our new private dining room, the traditional room or on the patio as the irresistible scents of warm pastas, herb-infused meats, and the sweet honey and nut coated sfingi with vanilla bean gelato shake permeate the surrounding space. Bewitching and eclectic wines from Italy and California complement the weekly changing menus that Chef Tia Harrison crafts with joy and delight for our neighborhood friends!

"I have been going to Sociale for years. It is always reliable, always good. Walking down the little alley to the restaurant always feels special, as if I were in a European city. My friends and I like to sit in the outdoor heated patio area; it's pretty and peaceful."

Verbena brings a distinct culinary and beverage experience to the Russian Hill neighborhood of San Francisco. Executive Chef Sean Baker, also of Gather Restaurant in Berkeley, incorporates a balance of artisanal vegetable dishes and whole animal butchery. The inspiration for the menu draws from deep working relationships with farmers and ranchers who are extremely passionate about their craft. The bar sets the stage in the restaurant and features an innovative beverage program highlighting carefully crafted small batch spirits and wines.

"Overall our Verbena brunch was fine. The place is nice and has a good open feeling; the service was pretty good. My friend had the frittata, which she and I both liked (I tasted a bit of it). I had the French toast, which was OK but a bit dry, and lacked flavor. I will go to Verbena again, because I think some of the other brunch menu options might be good. Also I would like to try dinner there as well. I hope the French toast was just an aberration."

Farmshop Marin is Jeff Cerciello’s second outpost which opened in 2013 in the heart of the Marin Country Mart in Larkspur. It follows in the footsteps of Farmshop Los Angeles, the acclaimed restaurant and artisan market that opened in the Brentwood Country Mart in 2010. Farmshop Marin features its signature fare of pristine California-centric ingredients and refined yet comforting dishes.
The impressive 6,500 square foot space features a comfortable and elegant dining room, outdoor patio, expansive full-bar area seating 50 people, a lounge, a private dining room seating 60, and an open-hearth wood-burning oven and grill. A new gathering space for Marin locals & ferry commuters, the restaurant offers the impeccably-sourced, seasonal California fare Farmshop has come to be known for, with additional pizza, fish and meats fresh from the wood-burning oven and grill. Farmshop Marin serves lunch and dinner daily, and has a vibrant bar scene daily until close.

"I was really looking forward to dining at Farmshop in Marin. The food was fine, but just fine. The reviews had led me to believe it would be more outstanding. The appetizers were quite good, but the two fish dishes we had were bland and very ordinary. The dessert, a chocolate cake, was also very ordinary. And the food was quite expensive, which I/we don't mind when the food is excellent (we often eat at high-priced restaurants) but seemed a bit steep for only so-so food. The service, I have to say, was quite good."
