Authentic, exciting and innovative, Filini is a contemporary Italian restaurant and bar that focuses on the finest fresh ingredients and flavors. The cuisine is uncomplicated but exquisitely prepared and presented to enhance the excellence of the produce. Unpretentious and stylish, the mood of the restaurant is friendly and subtle with memorable Mediterranean overtones. An upscale, contemporary and culinary experience, Filini aims to be one of the hottest spots in Chicago.

"We thought the food at Filini was delicious. However, the service on a recent Saturday night was poor. Although the restaurant wasn't very full, there were two large, noisy parties monopolizing the attention of the wait staff. Serving our table for two was not anyone's priority, and it really detracted from our enjoyment of the evening. We live downtown in the Lakeshore East neighborhood, so we will probably dine at Filini again. The food was good enough to deserve another chance, but the service needs a lot of improvement."

Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab is the culmination of a partnership between Lettuce Entertain You and Joe's Stone Crab, the legendary seafood restaurant of Miami Beach. Opened in Chicago in the fall of 2000, Joe's features an extensive selection of seafood, flown in fresh daily, to complement the world's finest Florida Stone Crab claws. Joe's has quickly built a reputation as one of Chicago's top steakhouses, featuring the signature 16 oz. Bone-In Filet Mignon and 22 oz. New York Strip Steak. Matched with Joe's famous side dishes, dinner only gets better when capped with a slice of key lime pie. Enjoy a generous cocktail in the bustling lounge or the tuxedo-clad service of the clubby dining room and you'll understand why dinner at Joe's has quickly become one of Chicago's favorite social engagements.

III Forks, one of the nation's USDA Prime Steakhouses, is located at the Village Market in Lakeshore East, just north of Millennium Park in beautiful downtown Chicago. This modern restaurant is simply sizzling with style and provides the perfect setting for upscale dining, rooftop lounging, private parties and special events. III Forks is a contemporary evolution of the classic steakhouse featuring USDA Prime Beef, ocean-fresh seafood and locally sourced Midwest fare. Less than half of one percent of all US beef makes the III Forks Prime quality grade. This leads to great steaks that offer abundant marbling, juiciness, tenderness and superior flavor.

III Forks also offers an impressive venue for private affairs. Three private dining rooms will be available for corporate meetings, seated social gatherings and cocktail receptions. The rooftop lounge is also available for private parties of up to 150 guests.

"We live in Lakeshore East, so III Forks is in our neighborhood, and we eat there fairly often. It isn't inexpensive, but the food never disappoints. On our most recent visit--a snowy evening when we didn't want to go far afield--it provided excellent food, well timed service, and a cozy atmosphere on a cold Chicago night. The big fireplace was a definite attraction, and the picture windows overlooking Lakeshore East Park will surprise out-of-towners (and some Chicagoans too) with their charming view. We love the Three Forks salad as a starter, and we almost always get that. Our steaks were perfectly tender, and perfectly cooked, and the shareable sides were also just right. Downtown residents and visitors alike should give III Forks a try!"

Classic Italian dishes with a contemporary flair have made Trattoria No.10 a Chicago favorite since 1989. Specialties on the daily menu include unique, homemade ravioli, rustic pastas, freshly prepared risotto, fresh fish selections and grilled filet of beef. The subdued elegance of the interior, with arched walkways, murals and original art provides an intimate atmosphere that is perfect for business lunches, pre-theater dining, romantic dinners or private parties.

"We have dined at Trattoria No. 10 many times. The food is always excellent, and often innovative. However, on our most recent dinner there, when we were entertaining friends from out of town, the service was pretty poor. We waited a long time for the bottle of wine we had ordered to be delivered to our table. The appetizers were also much delayed. The waiter never checked back during the meal to see if we needed anything. The wait for our after dinner coffee was close to embarrassing. The food was delicious, but the overall experience was, on this occasion, disappointing."
