Mediterranean bounty, beauty and modernity. All around the Eastern Mediterranean, “meze” (pronounced “MEH-zay”) are small dishes designed to complement a beverage, tease the tastebuds, and encourage diners to linger around the table for good companionship & conversation. On behalf of the owners and staff at Meze, we extend our heartfelt welcome and encourage you to eat, drink, and relax in the Turkish way of having a good time and enjoying life.
We have a great patio.

"Meze is a great restaurant. Middle Eastern cuisine is becoming increasing popular and more and more restaurants opening. A great diversion from traditional "continental" and American food. The flavours are wonderful. And, without the heavy sauces and fats, likely at lot more healthy too. Enough of the PSA... located in an old townhouse in the Adams Morgan neighborhood, the restaurant is small, but far from "cramped." Though billed as "Mediterranean" it is actually Turkish. We ordered the tasting menu -- two options to choose vegetarian and not -- and the selections were wonderful. The wine list is nice for a restaurant of this caliber, good selections for under $50, some under $40. Look for a Turkish wine and enjoy. The staff are great."

"This was a fantastic experience. We enjoyed the 7-course tasting menu. The courses were heavily dominated by seafood -- octopus, squid, scallops, corvina -- and all delicious. The staff were great. You will be well served. The restaurant itself is beautiful...once you walk through the doors you feel as though you have been transported to Madrid or Sevilla. A recommendation ... maybe make reservations early and request a table with a street view; or, alternatively, a table with a view of the kitchen is also fun.
The problem, the fantastically, exquisite experience does not come without a high cost."

Le Grenier - attic, in English - is a space to enjoy French Cuisine with a great wine selection or craft cocktail in a vintage attic décor, a cozy atmosphere with intimate ambiance on the vibrant H corridor. Chef Thierry Sanchez offered a menu of French dishes with frequent changes that reflect the seasons.

"Dinner at Le Grenier was one of the best "date nights" in recent memory. The food -- while basic -- was nonetheless well-prepared and delicious. The service, very good -- even the screw-ups! (While waiting for our table, we enjoyed a glass of Champagne at the bar. The bar keep, however, was a bit enthusiastic and mishandled the bottle. Suffice it to say that I had never before seen a bottle of Champagne erupt...it makes a mess but it was fun & enjoyable. The wine list was very accessible and affordable.
Le Grenier is located in the up and coming H Street corridor...a bit still rough around the edges... But worth the effort.
We will not have to be dragged back to Le Grenier...it is on our favourites list!"

Nick's Riverside Grille is a family-owned waterfront restaurant serving great American fare, fine steaks, authentic pasta dishes and the freshest seafood. Perched on the Potomac River, our views include Roosevelt Island, the Kennedy Center, Key Bridge and Rosslyn.

We are a perfect place to bring a date for a romantic candlelit dinner in one of our sun rooms. Or bring a group and sit in the larger dining room overlooking the majestic Washington Harbour Fountain and Ice Skating Rink in the winter.

The outdoor patio and bar are open for business from mid-March through November and any beautiful days in between. No reservations are accepted for outdoor dining, as it is first-come, first-served only.

"Can't say anything negative about Nick's. The food is good. The serice is good. The restaurant is located at Georgetown Harbour, a great spot. Unlike the restaurants acoss the courtyard, Nick's is noisy...too noisy on the particular Saturday night we were there. So, my reommendation...go to Nick's but just wait until you can sit outdoors and enjoy the fresh air."

"The restaurant is located in an ungentrified part of NorthEast DC but near the up-and-coming H Street corridor. With that said, the restaurant owners are trying hard ... Likely some days they hit home runs, while on other days, they struggle for a base hit. On this night, they were fighting for doubles. The food is great ... And exactly as advertised: southern comfort food. The sweet potato cake ... delicious. The staff are attentive and they are trying hard to make the restaurant work. Langston's is off the beaten path for us -- and we have to pass a lot of other probably better restaurants to get there -- but we are going to put Langston's on our restaurant rotation to (1) reward the effort, and (2) see how the restaurant progresses."

"DarNa is relatively new to the Clarendon/Virginia Square neighborhood and it is a great addition. The facility is beautiul...chic & modern with some traditional accents, just look past the Hess gas station and JiffyLube. The food is very good: some of the dishes might be rice heavy and meat light but delicious nevertheless. The staff were attentive but we were dining at an off-peak time. Entree prices are reasonable and the wine list has modestly priced selections. Kudos! The upstairs lounge is also very popular, particularly or hookah. Looking forward to the next visit."
