Renowned for generous portions of hospitality and authentic Italian cuisine, Rosebud sets the standard for fine Italian dining throughout the Chicago-land area. A long standing favorite among Chicagoans, tourists and celebrities alike, The Rosebud first opened its doors on Taylor Street in the heart of Little Italy in 1977. The restaurant continues to thrive, conquering appetites of countless hungry diners with generous portions of unforgettable Italian fare. Join us to see why Rosebud is one of Chicago’s most exciting dining destinations and enjoy a bountiful array of our signature dishes including chicken Vesuvio, sausage and peppers, and of course the best plate of spaghetti and meatballs in town.

Situated in the heart of Chicago's downtown entertainment venues, businesses, and outdoor parks, customers have continuously selected Rosebud Theater District as the ultimate lunch spot and pre-theatre dining destination. Join Rosebud for lunch or dinner to enjoy a delicious piece of grilled tuna over crisp greens or a delightful chopped salad with chicken and shrimp. For the hungrier appetite, indulge in an award-winning homemade pasta like the famed pappardelle in a rich tomato basil sauce, sausage and peppers, tender veal entrees or Rosebud's renowned chicken vesuvio. Charming and fast paced by day, elegant and relaxing by night. Celebrate a special occasion or escape for a quick bite with colleagues at lunch time.

"Many people working in Chicago's Loop are not aware of this wonderful restaurant. Tucked away in the Three First National Plaza Lobby (70 W Madison) it meets all the Rosebud restaurant high standards. Our party of 7 got great service, food and wine. What more can you ask."
