 Heartwood
Heartwood
Heartwood is a warm, rustic, contemporary American restaurant with a core menu of wood- roasted meat, fish, vegetables and wood-fired pizza. Our bar is stocked with a wide selection of local and international wine, beer, whiskies and spirits and our bartenders will craft cocktails to accommodate any taste.

"Looking for an untried spot to meet friends who live in Chelsea South. So on Labor Day weekend the place was quiet at 5:30. By 7:00 it bustled. Difficult choices to make decisions on food and drink. Four appetizers and four pizzas later the four of us felt the breaking out of old habits made the trip worthwhile. And my wife's brother in Portland, OR will be directed here the next time he's in town."

The view and setting of Sunday Park, graced by a 1,700 acre lake, are the breath of fresh air that will make your festivities truly memorable. Join us at The Boathouse and enjoy great food, great service, beautiful surroundings and our Wine Spectator award winning wine list. The panoramic sunset views put you in a resort vacation state of mind. The Boathouse Restaurant provides unlimited ways for our guests to enjoy the day or evening; business meetings, rehearsal dinners, dinner and drinks on our lakefront deck or inside dining surrounded in our beautiful nautical atmosphere with our open-fire Wood Stone pizza oven. Our menu features an extensive raw bar, open-flamed prime steaks, fresh seafood and if that is not enough we have Neapolitan Wood Stone fired pizzas...

"There are two Boathouse restaurants in Richmond. My wife and I finally made it to number two. It is located in the Brandermill subdivision (well to do) and seemed to be very well attended by the locals. The view on the lake is a western view, and bright sunlight made menu reading difficult. When asking for something shadier we would have been put nearer the steel drum band that was setting up. We stayed. Service was good. Food was 3 1/2 stars.
Wine list was 3 1/2 as well. Deserts held nothing special.
The first Boathouse (at Rocket's Landing) is still better by far."

Located directly across from the Museum of Natural History, Ocean Grill has been a staple for Upper West Side seafood lovers for years. Sample daily selections from the Raw and Sushi bars, paired with a featured wine and other fresh seafood. Feeling creative? Ocean Grill allows you to create your own meal with our daily list of Simply Grilled Fish served with your choice of sauce and seasonal side dish. Relax in the candle-lit lounge or refined dining area that resembles a luxury liner, complete with oversized mirrors and round porthole windows looking into the kitchen. The adjacent photo room is lined with retro black and white seaside snapshots and is a perfect spot for romance or celebration and as always kids are welcome.

"Columbus Avenue has become a foodie magnet near the Museum of Natural History. In that sense my wife, her business partner and I had a wonderful dinner. It is someplace we will go again. We ate indoors, though there is al fresco dining.
Staff was friendly and knowledgable. Portions were generous."
