"The problem stems from Wayzata having a desire for more restaurants. The Saturday of opening week buried them. The bar was 5 deep at 6:30. I love the build out... but the room closest to the Host stand is unbearable, the noise level is so high you can't talk or even yell. They will need to do something to make it palatable. I would give it a couple of weeks to let some of the crowds die down. Now down to food. The seafood chowder was very good, I also ordered the Lobster Guacamole which was great! The steaks where very good too. They just need to work on service more than ever... Oh and whats with the single person bathrooms? For a restaurant this size?"

The Blue Point, established in 1987, is an upscale fresh seafood restaurant located in quaint and beautiful Wayzata across the street from Lake Minnetonka, the metro area's largest lake. We are dedicated to providing the freshest seafood brought in daily from the coasts, it is creatively prepared and coupled with friendly, knowledgeable service and a colorful extensive selection of fine wines. We have had a Wine Spectator award-winning wine list for the past ten years and continue to be committed to upholding this caliber of selection as well as our culinary excellence. We offer a range of comfortable dining atmospheres, ranging from the white table-clothed Wine Room, Key West and Main dining rooms, to the more casual Oyster Bar with tables draped in green-checkered cloths. Our menu offers a variety of unique, delectable entrees and side dishes, featuring an array of seafood, salads, homemade soups and non-seafood options, as well as our famous Key Lime Pie.

"For the most part the food was very good with the exception of the gumbo soup which had a crusty layer on top like old pudding. The shrimp was excellent as was the salmon. For a Friday night service was horrible one server for the entire bar, which has 8 tables. She couldn't handle it things were coming and going haphazardly not in any order. I may go back but not soon."

Before the British occupation of South Asia, the predominant force that ruled a majority of the continent was the Mughal empire, which originated in Ferghana (modern day Uzbekistan). The cultural and religious capital of this empire lay in Bukhara due to the established silk trade routes from the Far East to the Mediterranean. This Indo-Islamic power had control over most of Asia and the city of Bukhara was the melting pot for all these cultures and their cuisines. As this great power vanished, so did much of its culinary inventions, but some aspects of this style survived in Northern India which have since come to be known as 'Mughlai Khanna' (food of the Mughals). Today we carry this ancient tradition of culinary excellence at Bukhara Indian Bistro under the supervision of the first chef to bring North Indian food to Minneapolis and of one of the best North Indian culinary arts master in the Midwest Chef Joginder Cheema
