"I'm a big fan of this place but my food was very underwhelming this visit. My dining companions were happier with their entrees however. The tomato salad was soggy and lacking taste and my lamb t-bone was half fat and difficult to enjoy without picking it up with your fingers (which I couldn't do in public)."

The Café at Chez Panisse, located upstairs, opened in 1980 to offer an alternative to the set menu served in the Restaurant downstairs. The Café offers a moderately priced à la carte menu for both lunch and dinner. It has an open kitchen along one side of the room with a charcoal grill and a wood burning oven. The menu changes daily and is inspired by local, seasonal ingredients. Reservations are recommended. Please call and let the reservationist know if anyone in your party requires special accommodation to access our upstairs Café dining room.

"This was our first time back since the fire and as always it was wonderful. The interiors are beautiful and the food perfectly prepared. It's always a treat to go there."

Corso is the sister restaurant of Rivoli Restaurant, which Chef/Owner Wendy Brucker & GM/Owner Roscoe Skipper opened in 1994. Corso is a casual trattoria featuring the simple, rustic food of Florence, with a full bar & an all-Italian wine list. We serve dinner nightly.

Alaskan, warm, inviting, innovative, a menu full of surprises, unbelievable wine list, great cocktails, are common phrases used by our guests to describe Orso. We feature the freshest ingredients available, Alaskan whenever possible- fresh Alaskan seafood, fresh local pasta, and local produce when in season. We prepare them with the simple, rustic flavors and techniques of the great culinary regions of the Mediterranean. Orso’s outstanding service, bold menu, classic cocktails combined with a wine list that has received the “award of excellence” from the Wine Spectator for five years is why ORSO is the “Place to be” for Anchorage dinning.

"This is not what I would call an Italian restaurant but nonetheless the food was good. It offered a full range of protein types, including the fish strengths found here in Alaska."

"Having read many positive reviews, we made this our first stop in Anchorage. Menu was very interesting with many appealing items but food was a bit bland for my taste. Others in my group were very satisfied so am guessing it was just what I ordered that underwhelmed me a bit. Definitely foodie quality and worth trying."

You will know the moment you walk in that this is not your typical brew pub. The scent of the alder wood grill and wood fired oven, the energy of the sparking exhibition cooking line and the glow of the brewery delight your senses. The BrewHouse features rotisserie grilled meats, the freshest Alaskan seafood, wood fired pizza and award winning hand crafted ales. The BrewHouse is Anchorage’s downtown landmark restaurant-“Where Alaskans meet Alaskans”.
