Santana Row welcomes a new dining destination this summer with the launch of Lark Creek® Blue which opened its doors on August 1, 2012. The restaurant features sustainable seafood, extensive oyster selections and a variety of globally-inspired seasonal dishes under the direction of Chef Chad Ferry. Lark Creek Blue is housed in the space formerly held by Yankee Pier, which had its last night of service on Sunday, July 15, 2012. The space has been completely renovated to offer casual, contemporary design with a circular raw bar, open kitchen and ample covered patio seating, perfect for warm summer days and nights.
"My guests were very pleased with the food - service was good. We were having a meeting over dinner and were a bit rushed with orders. Food was served fresh and tasty."

Magnificent views of the Pacific coastline complimented by waterfalls and tropical plants create a romantic Mediterranean meets Malibu atmosphere. Guests can enjoy a relaxing weekday lunch and weekend brunch or candlelit dinner with surrounding fire pits. Our international Californian cuisine can be enjoyed while spectacular dolphins and whales showcase their water displays.

"The Super Sunset was followed by the Super Moon rise to the East. Fantastic views and location. The food was very good - everyone in the party enjoyed the soups and entrees. The wine by the glass was not great - a bottle would have been better - but I was the only one drinking. The views make this location always worth the drive. Even if you only have a drink and appetizer."

Mezza Luna Restaurant, "half moon" in Italian, is located in the historic Princeton Landing Building (circa 1908). The harbor town of Princeton by the Sea is located 20 miles south of San Francisco on Highway 1. In this scenic area of Half Moon Bay, which overlooks the Pacific Ocean, you can experience breathtaking coastal views and marvel at the giant waves of Mavericks. Opened in the Summer of 1993, Mezza Luna continues to create an eating environment which provides the highest quality of meat, fish, produce, pizza and pasta. All with a contemporary Southern Italian flair.

"First let me say the service was really great. The food was not. We were out driving around and wanted a great dinner. The Open Table reviews said this was it. IT IS NOT! The Caprese salad used flavorless tomatoes and bland cheese. The main seafood dishes tasted flavorless - frozen. Not fresh as this restaurant is located next to the sea."

"This was our first visit to Lark Creek Blue @ Santana Row. I'd been to a couple restaurants in SF and had good and not so great experiences. The food was quite good and the wine was OK as well. Portions were small'ish - but generally filling - so not an issue. The seating was not inviting nor relaxing - thus a lower score on ambience. I will go back to try other dishes knowing that the seating may be an issue."

In Capitola-by-the-Sea, beside lush Soquel Creek just before it empties into the Monterey bay, Shadowbrook is best reached by its own quaint, hillside 'cable car' or the meandering garden path alongside waterfalls, ferns and flowers. For over 60 years, Shadowbrook has been famous its for fine food, wine and liqueurs served in an atmosphere of Old World charm and grace. Now, better then ever, Shadowbrook is perfect for any special occasion...or for no occasion at all.

"Have to say - the food was generally pretty good. They did try hard to correct errors and exceptions. I always explain my allergies - So when the ordered item arrives with unknown toppings - we need an explanation. They did take items back to the kitchen to verify that the allergies were not an issue. Wine list is a bit pricey - they do have a pretty good selection of bottles. All food had good flavor - reasonable portion sizes."

Tamarine is a contemporary Vietnamese restaurant that features the light but flavor-intensive culinary delicacies of Vietnam. The restaurant offers a menu based on small plates, promoting the Vietnamese tradition of the 'shared' meal in which food is shared and enjoyed with those close. Tamarine's small plate entrees are enjoyed with the pairing of a variety of aromatic, flavor infused rice, designed to be mixed and matched to create a truly unique flavor experience. Along with culinary delicacies of Vietnam, the restaurant showcases the works of emerging artists from Vietnam and other Southeast Asian countries. Semi-annual exhibits will close with a cocktail event to auction the art. Proceeds will be donated to La Maison Chance, an orphanage in Saigon, Vietnam.

"It had been a while since we were to Tamarine - so we decided to drive up. The food was very good as it always had been - the service seemed even more attentive that before. Had a few new dishes and a couple old standards - loved them all."
