You’ve never tasted Italian food like this before. Pasta made by hand every morning; fruits and vegetables sourced from a local farmer - just for us; fresh fish flown in daily and our meats aged to mouth-watering perfection. We have taken old school Italian and added a modern twist.

"Great dinners, wine, desserts & service. We all ordered different pasta dishes which we each enjoyed. We all liked the complimentary warm bread & herbed butter. Our server Ryan was attentive but not intrusive ~ great server! We are looking forward to returning to one of our favorite local restaurants. Note: My dad left his reading glasses on the table so I called the restaurant after we left and the manager put them aside for us. Thank you!"

"This has become one of our favorite restaurants. The cocktails are unique & tasty although a little bit small for the price. We started with appetizers ~ the Thai Chicken & Chilled Edamame which were both very good. We had the Baby Back Ribs which were absolutely delicious ~ tender (fell off the bone), flavorful & a generous portion. We shared the side of Coconut Grits ~ fantastic! For dessert we had the peanut butter & jelly soft serve. The service is very good as well. We are looking forward to another dinner here soon!"

"Four of us came for dinner. We enjoyed the Caesar Salads & the Wedge Salads. We all ordered different steaks which were cooked to perfection, flavorful & delicious. For the sharing sides, we had the fries & the truffle macaroni which were both generous portions & very good. For dessert we had the Flaming Bananas Foster (fantastic) & the Creme Brûlée/Cookies. The staff is the best ~ very attentive without being intrusive. Based upon the service & the food, we feel this is one of Chicago's best restaurants. We will be returning again soon!"

"We have been here several times & have always had wonderful service & delicious food. The staff here is the best ~ the Assistant Manager Tony, the bartender William & our server Mitch made our dinning experience even better. We started with the BLT Wedge Salad which is always a good choice. We tried seafood this visit ~ the Halibut & Crab Stuffed Shrimp were both very good & nice size portions. Our sides were the asparagus & augratin potatoes which we enjoyed. The Creme Brûlée is one of our favorites & is served with cookies on the side. Eddie V staff go out of their way to make your evening enjoyable. After dinner we have a drink in the bar area & listen to the live music. We look forward to our next visit."

"We started with the sliders (bar bites) which were tender & flavorful then the endive salad with delicious blue cheese. They serve a choice of bread (three to choose from). For our entrees we had the white fish/lobster & the salmon which were both very good. After dinner we ordered coffee which took quite a long time to come as our server Tino got very busy with other tables. To make up for the long wait, they gave us two complimentary mini shakes. We ordered the apple/ice cream/caramel dessert which was small & extremely bland. At the end of the dinner the staff gave the guests two complimentary mini chocolate covered cakes & two ginger candies to eat now plus a bag of five types of cookies to go. These cookies were fantastic! Overall it was a good dining experience."

"Seven Lions is a beautiful & elegant restaurant in a perfect location (across from the Art Institute & Millennium Park). Several of us went for lunch. We started with a cocktail ~ the mixed drink Mr. Pink was delicious. We ordered the Lobster Cobb & the Burger/Salad. All of us throughly enjoyed our meals. For dessert we shared the Lemon Dessert & the Bread Pudding ~ they were both so good. Our server Amber was attentive without being obtrusive. We are looking forward to returning in the near future."

"Consistently good food, beer, wine & service. We ordered a wedge salad (a little small this time), the crab & artichoke dip appetizer which is delicious & we like their fish/chips with apple coleslaw. They have a nice beer & wine selection and always good attentive service."

"We tried the Restaurant Week Menu which was a nice selection of food ~ Beet Salad, Gnocchi, Scallops or Pork Loin & Panna Cotta for dessert. All of the food was delicious & presentation was fantastic. The Gnocchi was exceptional. There were some nice choices of wine & beer. The service was good but a little slow getting the second glass of wine after the restaurant filled up. We will return to try more items from the menu."
