"Three of us went for dinner. We had 3 small plates ~ homemade guacamole & chips (a little bland), seared scallops (delicious) & fondito (very good). We then shared a big plate ~ the special beef short rib with cornbread & apple slaw (a decent potion size of beef & very flavorful, the cornbread was good but dry & very little apple slaw served but it was delicious). We ordered a side of plantains which were good. The mixed drink Black & Stormy (ginger beer & rum) was fantastic but it took a long time for drinks to come. We drank water throughout the meal while waiting for our second round of drinks. The prices are not bad for the potion size."

Mexique is a full service restaurant offering modern Mexican cuisine with a French influence. French recipes and cooking techniques during the French occupation of Mexico in the 1860's became an important element in the evolution of modern Mexican gastronomy. Come join us at Mexique as we introduce this historical blending of French and Mexican cuisine with a modern personal style by Executive Chef Carlos Gaytan in a fun and casual environment. Walk-ins always welcome, but reservations are highly recommended.

"This is a wonderful & well deserved Mexican/French influenced Michelin Star Restaurant. Chef Carlos Gayton came to our table twice throughout the night to ask how the dinner service & meals were. We both appreciated his presence & that he took the time to speak to us. Our sever was Allison R. who was knowledgable & attentive but not intrusive. All the other servers were great also. The food was perfection! Both of us tried & shared the Fried Oysters, the Lobster Bisque, the Asada, the Mar y Tierra & the Warm Apple Tart. The presentation, sauces, flavors & quality of the food were some of the best we have ever had. The coffee with dessert was delicious (Sparrow). We are looking forward to our next visit to this fantastic restaurant."

Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab is the culmination of a partnership between Lettuce Entertain You and Joe's Stone Crab, the legendary seafood restaurant of Miami Beach. Opened in Chicago in the fall of 2000, Joe's features an extensive selection of seafood, flown in fresh daily, to complement the world's finest Florida Stone Crab claws. Joe's has quickly built a reputation as one of Chicago's top steakhouses, featuring the signature 16 oz. Bone-In Filet Mignon and 22 oz. New York Strip Steak. Matched with Joe's famous side dishes, dinner only gets better when capped with a slice of key lime pie. Enjoy a generous cocktail in the bustling lounge or the tuxedo-clad service of the clubby dining room and you'll understand why dinner at Joe's has quickly become one of Chicago's favorite social engagements.

"There were four guests in our party for dinner. Our waitress Denise added to our wonderful dining experience. The bread basket served has a nice variety. The wine selection was extensive & the pour was generous. The soups (crab bisque & clam chowder) were both very flavorful. Everyone at our table said that their meals were delicious (crab legs & wet aged prime filet). The sharing sides are amazing (creamed spinach, herbed mashed potatoes, lyonnaise potatoes & grilled tomatoes). We each ordered a different pie for dessert (key lime, banana foster, chocolate) which tasted homemade. They serve the best Intelligentsia coffee. We are all looking forward to returning in the near future."

Chicago q is the modern urban BBq experience.

What makes q so good? It could be our savory North Carolina BBq rubs tirelessly mastered by ‘BBQ Pitmaster’ and Chef Partner Lee Ann Whippin. Lee Ann earned her place in the BBq hall-of-fame with countless accolades often featured on TLC’s BBQ Pitmasters and the Food Network. Our Chef Partner takes BBq seriously.

"We ordered from the special Restaurant Week Menu and shared. The complimentary BBQ Chips & pickles are fantastic. For starters we tried the hush puppies served with a dipping sauce (wonderful) & the corn/black bean salad which was good. Both the baby back ribs & Kobe brisket were tender & flavorful. We had the coleslaw & fries as our side dishes. For dessert we tried carrot cake (one of the best I've ever had) & two hot freshly baked cookies. We took leftovers home. The BBQ sauce was excellent so we purchased a bottle. We will return in the future."

"Each experience we have had at Capital Grill has been a great one. The staff are all courteous & professional starting at the valet, the coat check, the host/hostess stand, the wait-staff & the manager. Our waiter Adam M was wonderful & knowledgeable about the food. The wine selection is extensive. Our steaks were both seasoned & cooked perfectly, the salads & sides were delicious. The dessert & coffee were good too. This is one of our favorite Chicago restaurants and we are looking forward to our next visit."

In the heart of Chicago’s Magnificent Mile & Gold Coast, The Local Chicago provides an elevated dining experience within walking distance of the city’s greatest shopping and attractions. Proprietors Matt Moore and David Flom, veterans of the acclaimed Chicago Cut Steakhouse in River North, strive for The Local Chicago to be a home away from home. Specially sourced ingredients are used to elevate American comfort food favorites that deeply satisfy. The menu changes seasonally, but standout favorites are the chicken pot pie, bacon-wrapped shrimp and grits, a show-stealing jalapeno corn bread and, borrowing a page from sister restaurant Chicago Cut Steakhouse, sublime USDA Prime steak. From the dining room guests can view the “from-scratch” exhibition kitchen, watching as chefs roast succulent rotisserie chickens and Berkshire pork racks in the restaurant’s majestic red & gold Rotisol. Rounding out the visit is a jaw-dropping wine list delivered via ipad.

"Wonderful drink & wine options. We started with an appetizer ~ the blue cheese sauce served over homemade potato chips. This was one of the best appetizers! I then ordered the fish & chips (cod & seasoned fries). This was a generous portion & very good. My husband had the rotisserie chicken & kale which he also enjoyed. The service was exceptional. Our waiter answered several questions about the food & was very attentive without be intrusive. The manager checked on each table to see if people were enjoying their food."

Executive Chef Rodolfo Cuadros supports the Green City Market and uses as many local, sustainable ingredients as possible out of concern for the environment and community. Carnivale is the perfect location for your lunch, dinner, birthday, anniversary, wedding or corporate event. Carnivale has hosted exciting events such as Oprah’s “Color Purple” release party, the “Batman: The Dark Night Returns” wrap party and a private event with John Legend. "Unfortunately on the night that we went, the frozen drink machine was broken. The house margarita was good but not as good as the frozen ones that I've had in the past. We split a salad which was delicious then ordered two small plates (tacos de pescata & ropa viejo) which were both very good. For dessert we had the ice cream cake. The dessert presentation was wonderful & it tasted great too. They have valet parking & complimentary coat check. We will be back soon."

HUB 51 is the River North creation from R.J. and Jerrod Melman, the younger generation of the Lettuce Entertain You organization. HUB 51 is a convergence of entertainment, nightlife, dining and social activity-much like the offbeat creations of LEYE were years ago. Striving to be at the heart of Chicago's social and dining scene, the attitude at HUB 51 is to expect the unexpected, a place offering unconventional perks, and outstanding food, drink and service in a spacious urban setting.

"Two of us went for lunch. Great experience from start to finish. We both had the BLT with Blue Cheese (knife & fork) served with fries and the Hub 51 Punch. Delicious sandwich & the fries were hot & seasoned perfectly. The cocktail was very good too. We are looking forward to returning sometime for dinner."
