"We're planning a private event, so we had dinner here first to check it out.
The good news is that the food was delicious (the spicy shrimp appetizer is a must, my filet mignon was perfect) the service was very friendly and attentive, and the decor is striking. It was a little noisier than I'd like, but that's true of most places these days.
Our only true complaint was that it's very cold inside. In fact, the woman's bathroom thermostat actually read 55 degrees! Apparently, the owners plan to revamp the heating/cooling system this spring. They opened in July 2013, and this is their first winter (and a bad one at that), so this came as an unpleasant surprise to them.
If they get that issue fixed, this place would be nearly perfect."

Gaucho Grill Argentinean Steakhouse offers a combination of South American fare with an Italian influence that introduces guests to an unforgettable melody of flavors. Located in the heart of White Plains, with complementary valet parking, your dining experience is sure to be an unforgettable one.

"My wife and I usually don't go out for dinner on Valentine's Day, because it's always crowded and food choice is typically limited. This time, we lucked into a last-minute babysitter and were able to get a reservation.
I must say, the food was excellent--even though it was a limited Prix Fix menu.
The wine list was solid, with many choices available by the glass.
However, the place is noisy, so even though it has an upscale decor, I don't think of it as particularly romantic.
My only complaint is that service was quite slow and not as attentive as I wanted. We waited nearly 15 min. just to get our check.
Overall, though, it was a busy night, so I'll cut them slack and try again another day. The empanadas are worth coming back for!"

The Rye Grill and Bar reopened to large crowds in January 2009 after a major renovation that boasts four separate dining rooms, fireplaces and a front porch. Long-time patrons will be relieved to know that it's still the casual neighborhood spot they've always loved. The Grill offers the same friendly service and menu favorites that made it a crowd pleaser for fifteen years, from it's fried calamari, Cajun chicken quesadillas and 4-layer dip to its salads, pizzas, sandwiches, sliders and burgers. Popular entrees include the Rye Grill's signature farfalle with hot Italian sausage, pan roasted filet mignon, pot chicken and fish selections. Guests may have drinks and appetizers in its lively mahogany bar room on the first floor or enjoy a bit more quiet at the nautical themed bar upstairs. Dining room options accommodate all for, dinner and private parties. Valet parking is available at lunch during the week.

"We live in the area and have dined here several times, but I only joined OT recently so my review is late!
The RG&B is a combination of neighborhood bistro and fine restaurant. The food is of a higher caliber than the atmosphere might suggest--although it's certainly a fine-looking place.
The chef continues to surprise with excellent specials, and regular menu items are always great. Although it can get noisy, it's the pleasant chatter of happy patrons not the annoying din of trend followers.
To sum up: excellent food at a reasonable (but not cheap) price in a warm, welcoming environment. It's kid friendly, too, but since it's an affluent area, they'll have their noses pointed at smart phones and tablets, and don't cause too much bother!"
