"We had often had lunch at The Mark but this was our first dinner experience. We had requested seating in the atrium (which is quieter and beautifully appointed), and after some confusion were accommodated very politely (!) by staff. After perusing a wonderfully eclectic menu over kir royales we were served perfectly prepared kale salad with lemon and parm; a peeky toe crab, and crunch green salad that set the stage for beautifully cooked cod, salmon and beef tenderloin with sides. Terrific St Estephe, Chappelet chard by the glass topped off by butterscotch pudding dessert. Much better experience than recent visit to Jean Georges' Nougatine on west side. A terrific (if a tad pricey) neighborhood restaurant. On leaving passed through a happening bar scene."
