Our French inspired menu fully complements the array of unique, infused cocktails that are offered on the longest zinc bar you can find in Manhattan. Located on the Upper West Side, join our neighbors for ONE dollar oysters from 3.30 PM till 8pm any day of the week. Choose from our expansive selection of wines, both by the glass and by the bottle, hand picked by our sommelier to fit anyone's palette.

"An odd experience. The bar was very busy when we arrived (including people with small children - who brings babies to a BAR??), and the restaurant portion rather empty. We ordered drinks, and waited over 15 minutes for them to arrive. Waited again for our order to be taken. Waited again for salt and pepper for under seasoned soup. (I have to assume they were just short-handed that evening). I ordered a beet salad for dinner, it was okay. This won't make my short list of where to dine on the UWS..."

"I have been to relaxed lunches at Bouchon while in the area, and knew the food was good. I booked a table for 6:30 on an evening when we had 8 pm concert tickets at the Rose Theatre, a short elevator ride away. By 7:45, our food had still not come. We left."

Whimsical Mexican cuisine inspired by our time spent in San Francisco and a whirlwind trip to Mexico City.

"I had heard so many great things about Mission Cantina, but something went very wrong the evening we were there. It took a long time for cocktails to arrive. We ordered from the very interesting and unusual menu, and we waited. and waited. and waited. Some extraordinarily good guacamole emerged from the kitchen. A bit later, the crab that I ordered as my entree arrived. Then some little amuse-bouche came out. And that was it for 45 minutes when another of my party got her enchiladas. We had plans for 8pm (we arrived at 6), and finally we had to leave WITHOUT having the remaining entrees (although the chef sent some more of the crab to tide them over). The food that we did get was lovely, but the experience was a mess."

For almost 20 years City Crab and Seafood Company has been serving up New York's freshest seafood and American fare. Located in the heart of New York's Gramercy Park/Flatiron area, City Crab and Seafood Company is the perfect place for a relaxing lunch or dinner.

"The food is good, if overpriced. The noise level (and we arrived at an early hour, when the restaurant was barely half full) made it difficult to have a conversation, and also hard to hear our (very nice) server. On the whole, I was unimpressed."

"The Carlyle is a lovely hotel, and the dining room was beautiful. The service was very good. The food was....ok. My lamb chops were really tough and chewy, and although the plate was laden with root vegetables, they all tasted much the same. The apple tart had a delicious crust, but little apple. My friend's chocolate shuffle, however, was excellent."

"I have always loved this quiet, adult, restaurant. This was my first visit back in over a year, and the food and service have maintained their high quality. And the burger is still the best anywhere!"

Harry Cipriani is located at 59th Street and Fifth Avenue in New York City. This fashionable restaurant is almost an exact duplicate of the original Harry's Bar in Venice. It is packed daily with chic New Yorkers and visitors from all over the world. Harry Cipriani offers the classic Harry's Bar menu of unique Cipriani specialties and classic Italian favorites. Service is superb; and whether you are a regular with your "own table" (many customers have lunch or dinner at Harry Cipriani every day!) or a first time guest, you are received with warmth and enthusiasm.

"I have eaten here many times, and the food and service is always outstanding. LOVED the artichoke appetizer (a new one for me), and my old favorite, eggplant parmigiana. My out of town guests were very impressed!"

Sirio Maccioni once again welcomes friends and guests at his renowned Le Cirque at its home within the prestigious One Beacon Court (151 East 58th Street). The more casual bistro next door, Le Cirque Café, still provides its hallmark service, exciting atmosphere and excellent cuisine, in a more relaxed and convivial setting. The Adam D. Tihany designed café is sleek and cozy with colorful carpeting and other plush touches. <br />Patrons can enjoy a remarkably well-priced cafe dishes featuring a seasonal prix fixe menu, 2-course $28pp lunch and $38pp dinner, and outstanding wines offered by the glass. Jackets are not required but kindly suggested.

"I eat at the cafe with a friend whenever we need a proper, elegant lunch. I don't know if my spaghetti and meatballs can be considered elegant, but it certainly was delicious! and the prix-fixe is a great deal!"

"On a cold and dampish winter night, the pork roast makes an especially satisfying and delicious supper. We tried the cheese plate instead of desert, served with a perfectly dressed salad. As usual, the service was excellent, and we had a lovely evening."
