"Food is delicious and imaginative. Had veal marrow, pimento cheese, and 25 minute egg (a WONDERFUL salad) as appetizers; shrimp, halibut, and pork entrees. Delicious accompaniments, beautiful presentation. Their "by the glass" is a satisfying 9 oz pour - kudos for recognizing a "glass and a half" is just right with dinner! Final flourish -big pouf of green apple flavored cotton candy brought with the check in lieu of mints; whimsical and tasty-great fun! But the wait staff - ugh! Pretentious blah, blah, blah about the cuisine and its preparation. Never asked about our interests or tastes. The food speaks for itself, Portlandia! These servers need to be replaced with professionals who understand how to talk TO customers not AT them."
